Grads trump Dads

The annual Grads vs. Dads hockey game was held last Friday night at the Midway Arena. The Dads bench was filled with parents, family members or friends. To get a spot on the Grads team, though, you had to be a member of the Class of 2013 at BCSS. Although the game was always close, this year’s fundraiser was won in an overtime shootout by the Grads – final score 12 - 11. There were door prizes, a 50/50 draw, raffle baskets, an airplane toss and a bake sale. The referee was Andrew Bartelings, assisted by linesmen Jordan Smith and Tyson Lautard.
