Generous donation The Quesnel Scandinavian Society continues to give generously to support patient care at GR Baker Memorial Hospital. A recent $20,000 donation will go toward the purchase of a portable Ultrasound unit. Ultrasound can help reduce the time it takes to diagnose and treat some health problems. Because the unit is portable, it can be used in various areas of the hospital, and by physicians at a patient’s bedside, for emergency assessments. This is the Scandinavian Society’s second major donation to GR Baker Memorial. Last year, a $50,000 donation went toward the purchase of orthoscopic equipment. Danika Hebert photo
