Thapar takes run at NDP candidacy

He says he represents the “average person.” Sushil Thapar has added his name to the NDP candidacy ballot. “It took a lot of thinking,” Thapar said. “But when I see the working class not getting a say, it made me feel it was time to step up to the plate.”

Also seeking the NDP candidacy in the spring provincial elections is Duncan Barnett; a decision will be made Jan. 20.
