The announcement today in Burns Lake at the Ministry of Forests district office was well received by the crowd of local residents and former mill employees on hand for the long awaited news. Construction is expected to begin as early as the new year, but is contingent upon working out satisfactory lumber supply arrangements with the provincial government, the Burns Lake Community Forest and the local six First Nations.
