ADAMSON, Ronald Thomas Ron passed away peacefully on March 8, 2012 at the age of 79 years. He will be sadly missed by his 5 children, Marianne (Bill), Danny (Angel) Ronnie (Karen), Linda (Randy) and Ed (Sharon); as well as all of his beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister, Marilu (Pete) and brother, Dan (Sydney); his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ron was predeceased by his beloved wife of 39 years, Lillian; his parents Robert and Mary and his brothers, Bob and Larry. An open house celebration of Ron’s life will be held at his son Ronnie’s house on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. (Please call 604702-9889 for his address). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.

LEYEN, Mary (Maartje) Born March 28, 1916 in St. Pancras, Holland and passed away on March 4, 2012 in Agassiz, British Columbia. Mary is survived by her sister in Holland; her children, Peter (Mary), Alida, Keith (Pat), Terri (Don), Reina (Bill), Gerry (Jill) and Anne (Bill); 14 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband Reindert in 1991. She was a great Mom and we will all miss her very much. No service by request. A family gathering will be held to celebrate Mom’s life. The family would like to thank the staff at Logan Manor for the excellent care she received during her stay. SCHMUR Michael Jan 21, 1942 - February 26, 2012 Athlete - Outdoorsman Policeman - Instructor

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Schmur while vacationing in Nevada. Michael is lovingly remembered by brother Walter (Margaret); daughter Louise(Paul); sons Paul(Lu) and Tim(Sherri); six grand children and by many friends. Born in Orechow, Ukraine to Nikkolai and Luise Schmur, Michael emigrated to Canada in 1949 at the age of 7. After spending his youth in BC, he moved to Alberta, eventually settling in Slave Lake. Services were held March 7th in Slave Lake. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation as expression of sympathy.

Walter Janzen passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. He was born in Waldheim, Saskatchewan, Sept. 28, 1919. He was 92 years old. Dad was a good, honest and decent man. He was a hard worker and had a passion for driving trucks. He also loved to golf and play pool. Dad came from a large family. His own family included 7 children and two adopted children. Dad’s death was sudden but gentle with no pain. His memory will always linger in our hearts.

LAWTON Linda Passed away March 9, 2012 in Mission BC at the age of 57 years. Survived by her family, children Brendan (Erin), Roxan (Jory), Alexis, Larry and Leigh; grandchildren, Malerie, Amelia, Maxwell, Ethan and Logan. With sadness we announce the passing of Fred, peacefully at the Menno Home. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Margaret, daughter Peggy, sons Fred Jr. (Bonnie), Henry (Ann), Bob (Debb), son-in-law Wayne Grant, eleven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
