As the Ferrari marque grows from strength to strength globally in its pursuit of new, uncharted territory, we’ve placed an increased focus this year on exploring the intangible value of being a member of the Ferraristi family - one that surpasses simply being a custodian of one of our vehicles; the sense of being part of this truly exclusive global community.
2024 has certainly been a memorable year with our local Ferraristi, both old and new. With almost double the car deliveries compared to the previous year and a heavily expanded Ferrari Experiences programme, our community has grown exponentially with the Official FOCHK reaching record membership figures, Hong Kong’s top Ferraristi returning to the world stage at the Ferrari Cavalcade, the global debut of the 12Cilindri alongside our celebration of the legendary V12, and of course, the once in a decade unveiling of the latest Supercar to join the Pantheon of the Big Five, the Ferrari F80.
With an exciting schedule for 2025 planned including the unveiling of nolessthanfournewlatestgenerationvehicles(includingavery “Speciale” car) and an expanding list of even more unique experiences including the much anticipated restart of our Club Challenge and Ferrari Challenge racing programmes, I look forward to welcoming you all and seeing you again at our numerous gatherings in the new year.
As we draw this year to a close, I remain constantly humbled and in awe of the support we have received from every member of our Ferraristi family who continue to represent us not only in our home of Hong Kong, but at countless activities worldwide. When passion for engineering meets heart-stopping performance, magic happens. That’s exactly what unfolded during the Art in Motion open day in August. This exceptional event invited Ferrari enthusiasts to explore the Ferrari 296 Series, delivering an all-encompassing and engaging experience. Over two days, guests experienced the breathtaking capabilities of this groundbreaking machine and connected with a vibrant community of Ferraristi.
Saturday morning kicked off with clear skies and unparalleled excitement as a fleet of Ferrari 296s lined up outside the Ferrarishowroom in Repulse Bay. The day began with a shared breakfast that set the tone for the morning. From there, the convoy roared to life, taking a scenic drive from Repulse Bay to Central. The sweeping, winding roads of Hong Kong offered the perfect stage for this remarkable machine to shine, thrillingdrivers with its precision and responsiveness.
The sight of the 296s cruising cohesively through Hong Kong’s streets was nothing short of awe-inspiring, turning heads and sparking admiration wherever they went. This memorable drive not only showcased the stunning beauty
and engineering brilliance of the Ferrari 296 family but also fostered a deeper bond within the Ferrari community, rooting friendships and a sense of shared passion among enthusiasts.
Sunday brought a deeper dive into the heart of the Ferrari296 with an insightful talk led by Lung Sir from RevChannel, one of the most respected voices in Hong Kong’s automotive media landscape. Lung sir shared his expert knowledge of the 296 platform and new V6 hybrid power plant, focusing on the evolution of Ferrari engines. Guests explored the history of Ferrari’s iconic powertrains, leading to the cutting-edge V6 Turbo Hybrid system of the 296 GTB and its application throughout Ferrari’s racing programmes.
Delving into the Ferrari 296 GTB, Lung Sir highlighted its groundbreaking V6 Turbo Hybrid engine, a powertrain that represents both a nod to Ferrari’s storied past and a leap into its future. Guests learned about the car's 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, paired with an electric motor, producing a combined output of 818 horsepower. This hybrid setup not only enhances performance but also improves efficiency, showcasing Ferrari's commitment to innovation while maintaining its racing DNA.
The session also covered how this technology translates to on-track performance, drawing parallels to Ferrari’s application of hybrid systems in Formula 1. Lung Sir explained how the 296 GTB embodies Ferrari’s pursuit of balance—blending raw power with precision handling, thanks to its lightweight design, advanced aerodynamics, and its cutting-edge e-Drive system.
Guests were captivated by insights into how Ferrari engineers have combined tradition with modern technology, creating a car that is as thrilling on the road as it is sustainable for the future of performance vehicles.
The excitement didn’t stop there. After the talk, guests got behind the wheel for an esperienza Ferrari, fully experiencing the 296 GTB’s responsiveness, incredible power delivery, and the precision of its manettino.
For thrill-seekers who wanted an extra challenge, a driving simulator was also available, offering a taste of high-speed fun in a controlled environment.
The Ferrari 296 continued to spark conversations among its owners, and for good reason. Mr. Kevin Chan and Mr. Ajay Hazari - 296 GTB Ferraristi - were eager to share their impressions of this groundbreaking model.
Ajay, a seasoned Ferrari owner who has previously driven several V8 models, expressed his excitement for Ferrari’s bold move to introduce a V6 hybrid platform.
Calling the car a “game changer,” he was blown away by the power delivery and control it offered. According to Ajay, the 296 GTB brilliantly marries raw performance with cutting-edge technology, making it a true reflection of Ferrari’s forwardthinking approach. He emphasized how the hybrid platform not only enhances driving dynamics but also demonstrates Ferrari’s commitment to innovation in the evolving automotive landscape. For Ajay, the 296 GTB represents a thrilling leap into the future while staying true to Ferrari’s performance heritage.
Kevin, another Ferrari devotee, was equally impressed by the 296 GTB’s overall package. He praised its advanced dynamic systems for creating a seamless and exhilarating driving experience. Kevin was particularly captivated by the car’s compact and modern design, which he felt brings a fresh perspective to Ferrari’s mid-rear-engine berlinetta tradition. He commended Ferrari for striking the perfect balance between maintaining the essence of their design DNA and pushing the envelope with new standards in aesthetics and engineering. To Kevin, the 296 GTB isn’t just a car - it’s a masterpiece that redefines what a modern supercar can be.

Ferrari proudly showcased the essence of its DNA at the "Ferrari's Beating Heart" exhibition held at Landmark Atrium from August 7th to 10th in the heart of Central, Hong Kong.
This monumental event marked the brand’s return to Hong Kong’s city centre after more than five years and was an unforgettable celebration of the legendary V12 engine.
The exhibition kicked off with the spectacular "144 Cylinder Parade," featuring a procession of a dozen Ferrari V12 models that captivated onlookers as they journeyed through the picturesque streets of Hong Kong, starting from Repulse Bay to the city centre. This dazzling display not only highlighted Ferrari’s engineering prowess but also rekindled the passion of automotive enthusiasts in the region.
A key objective was to introduce Ferrari’s latest model, the 12Cilindri, which became a lighthouse for the public to learn about the entire evolution of Maranello’s mighty V12 engine.
Its stunning design and innovative features captivated both new and returning Ferraristi, reigniting public interest in the marque’s mystique and legacy. Over the four days, the event welcomed an audience of 320,000 people, a testament to the enduring allure of Ferrari and the excitement surrounding this unique showcase. The event provided attendees with an exclusive opportunity to see the latest models, including the 12Cilindri, the legendary 365 GTB/4, and the innovative Purosangue. Each vehicle illustrated the evolution of Ferrari’s V12 powerplant, showcasing how the brand has refined its engineering excellence while pushing the boundaries of design.
This exhibition was not just a return to form; it was a celebration of resilience and passion in the face of new challenges presented by a post-pandemic world. Nevertheless, the event was a resounding success, reinforcing Ferrari's status as the world's most prestigious automotive brand and leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri’s 2024 debut in Hong Kong marked a pinnacle of engineering, design, and exclusivity for the brand.
Hosted in Ferrari’s newly renovated showroom lounge, the event introduced a space that elegantly blends comfort and innovation, setting a new benchmark for luxury automotive experiences.
Available in both coupe and spider versions, the 12Cilindri combines timeless elegance, versatility, and performance with its front-mounted V12 engine.
The spider model’s immense demand led to an immediate sellout, underscoring its allure among Ferrari enthusiasts. Elevating this milestone further was the Mountain and Sea Edition, a Hong Kong-exclusive offering limited to
twelve numbered vehicles. Inspired by the city’s iconic mountain and sea landscapes, this edition includes six cars finished in Blu Nart with Argento Nurburgring accents and six in Verde Toscana with matching dreamlines.Owners were invited to Casa Ferrari Shanghai to personalise their interiors, exemplifying Ferrari’s commitment to bespoke craftsmanship.
The 12Cilindri also shines in its design and technology, featuring a striking dualcockpit layout. Aerodynamics innovation includes configurable Low Drag (LD) andHighDownforce(HD)settings, ensuring optimized performance without compromising its iconic beauty.
The launch celebrated Ferrari’s prestige through an array of curated experiences, including an exclusive dinner for 12Cilindri buyers, private viewings, and a formal debut at the showroom. With over 60 major media features and the presence of Giuseppe Cattaneo, President of Ferrari Greater China, the entire launch experience excelled in strengthening the bond between Ferrari and its passionate community.

UNIVERSO FERRARI BRAND
In November 2024, Bangkok hosted its first "Universo Ferrari," an immersive exhibition celebrating the iconic brand's rich heritage and innovative spirit. Held at UOB Live, Emsphere, this landmark event showcased over 20 extraordinary models, including the groundbreaking Ferrari F80, shown for the first time outside of Italy, the 24LM winning 499P, and every 296 variant represented in its GT racing programmes. With exclusive dinners for international customers and captivating displays, Universo Ferrari offered enthusiasts a unique opportunity to engage with the passion, performance, and craftsmanship that define Ferrari.
Held at UOB Live, Emsphere from November 23rd to 25th, Universo Ferrari attracted enthusiasts and visitors eager to experience the brand's legacy. The F80 Supercar, which made its global debut just prior to the event, was a major highlight, featuring a powerful V6-hybrid powertrain that produces an astonishing 1,200 horsepower, making it the most powerful road car Ferrari has ever produced.
An exclusive dinner for international customers further enhanced the experience, with a group of 30 attendees from Hong Kong participating. This special dinner marked one of our overseas events aimed at engaging with our community in a unique way. Universo Ferrari allowed fans to immerse themselves in Ferrari's history, from its origins in racing to its evolution as a luxury automaker.
The exhibition featured distinct zones, including the Racing Zone showcasing iconic models like the F1-2000, 296 GT3 and 296 Challenge, a Sports Cars Zone with the 296 GTB, Purosangue, SF90 XX Stradale, Daytona SP3, and the latest Prancing Horse that dances to the V12 beat, the 12Cilindri.
Additionally, the Ferrari Classiche Zone saw Ferrari’s 308 GTB and the iconic F50 on display—time capsules that allowed visitors to relive a different era of Ferraris. The F50, conceived to celebrate Ferrari’s 50th anniversary, was a standout attraction.
Overall, Universo Ferrari offered a unique opportunity for both longtime fans and newcomers to engage with the passion, performance, and craftsmanship that define Ferrari.

On 25 and 26 May, 2024, Ferraristi gathered at the Ferrari showroom for an exclusive event showcasing the brilliance of the Burmester sound system, featured in the remarkable Ferrari Purosangue. Participants were guided through the event by Burmester’s esteemed audio specialist and distinguished automotive journalist Lawrence from UpCar Media. Lawrence delivered high praise, declaring, “This is the best car audio system I have ever experienced.”
His words resonated with attendees, who shared their amazement at the Burmester system’s ability to deliver such a refined fusion of power and precision. Attendees explored the exceptional features of the Burmester sound system, which is fitted seamlessly into every Ferrari Purosangue. With 21 speakers and 1,420 watts of power, the system delivers exceptional clarity, precise imaging, and a unique audio signature. This is truly a benchmark in automotive audio performance.
Beautiful Sunday weather provided the perfect conditions for a Ferrari Father’s Day Drive organized by Blackbird Concesssionaires. With 24 father-child pairs participating, the event was filled with joy, excitement, and special memories that will last a lifetime.
The day started at Harbour City with a scenic photo shoot, setting the tone for the exciting adventure ahead.
A convoy of stunning Ferraris embarked on a spectacular drive to Tai Po, with fathers and their children sharing the thrill of riding together. The experience concluded at

The Singapore Grand Prix 2024 was truly a weekend to remember, especially for the esteemed Ferraristi of the Official Ferrari Owners’ Club of Hong Kong and friends of Blackbird Concessionaires who were part of the exclusive Casa Ferrari experience.
Highlights of the opening black-tie evening included the breathtaking debut of the 12Cilindri, and a rare opportunity for fans to mingle with Scuderia Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, two of F1’s
most celebrated talents.The event also featured an elegant gala dinner shared with fellow Ferraristi, creating a night buzzing with passion for performance and style.
The Casa Ferrari brought the Singapore Grand Prix to life, treating guests to an unmatched view of Formula 1 cars thundering past, their engines echoing through the charged night. It was the perfect blend of luxury and electrifying raceday excitement.
FERRARI 499P IN LE MANS
A year after winning the Centenary edition, Ferrari secured another victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024, the world’s most famous and prestigious endurance race, achieving a feat destined to go down in motorsport history. The Ferrari 499P is a sports prototype built by Scuderia Ferrari to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship in the Le Mans Hypercar category since 2023.
The introduction of the 499P marks 50 years since Ferrari last fielded a factory-backed sports prototype that contested for the overall win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and one of the 499Ps, the 2024 winning car, raced with the number 50 as a tribute. The car's 2,992 cc twin-turbocharged V6 engine architecture is shared with the Ferrari 296 and its Group GT3 counterpart, the 296 GT3, showing how advanced the technology is packed into the brand’s latest V6 engine.
PASSIONE FERRARI
Passione Ferrari - the Official Program of Track Events for Ferrari owners, allows Ferraristi to experience the thrill of driving on official circuits and immerse in the racing community. This year, Ferraristi from Hong Kong joined the program at the renowned Shanghai International Circuit, experiencing the unforgettable excitement of driving on an F1 track.
Six Hong Kong participants took part in the Club Challenge, the ultimate on-track experience. Behind the wheel of the Ferrari 488 Challenge EVO, they received expert coaching through one-on-one sessions,
in-depth telemetry analysis, and immersive workshops. In this exhilarating yet non-competitive environment, participants refined their driving skills and elevated their racecraft to new heights.
Following the Club Challenge, the Corso Pilota Sports program offered an exclusive two-day training session tailored for Ferraristi. Guided by official Ferrari instructors, guests drove the Ferrari 296, utilizing advanced telemetry tools to refine their skills, master modern driving techniques, and build confidence with every lap.
FERRARI 296 CHALLENGE
The 296 Challenge is the ninth model to be launched in the history of the Prancing Horse’s single-make series, the first edition of which was organized in 1993. Now the longest-running single-make championship on the international scene, it has seen 8 previous models fielded.
The biggest change over the 296 GTB, in line with the development of the 296 GT3, is that the hybrid powertrain was removed to reduce weight, while the power output was increased to 700 cv, resulting in a record specific power output for the segment - 234 cv/l. In terms of aerodynamics, the Challenge car adopts solutions derived from the 296 GT3 which have been developed to new extremes, yielding unprecedented downforce figures.
The 296 Challenge can generate 870 kg of downforce at 250 km/h with the spoiler at its maximum angle of attack. This is an 18% increase in downforce compared to the 488 Challenge Evo, resulting in an incredible improvement of up to 5 seconds per lap at the Ferrari Finali Mondiali at Imola this year.
The 296 Challenge made its first appearance in the 2024 season as the protagonist in the Europe and North America series of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli; it will make its debut in the UK and Japan series the following season. Racing drivers in Hong Kong are expected to be competing soon.
EVOLUTION
The Ferrari Purosangue represents an exciting evolution from the 412 to the FF/ GTC4Lusso, embodying stunning performance, driving pleasure, and comfortable seating for four. As Maranello's first four-door four-seater featuring a naturally aspirated V12 engine, this car is the culmination of 75 years of groundbreaking research. It seamlessly combines the iconic Prancing Horse performance with luxurious comfort in perfect harmony, thanks to its modern architecture.

The Purosangue retains Ferrari's DNA through various elements, notably with its exceptional V12 engine. Boasting 725hp, an 8,250-rpm redline, and a distinctive high-pitched sound, this engine sets the Purosangue apart, offering a unique and thrilling driving experience. The car's weight distribution, agile handling through turns, and responsive steering further enhance the driving dynamics, providing a sporty yet refined feel akin to the best sports sedans.
The Ferrari Purosangue's infotainment system is predominantly controlled through the digital gauge cluster screen and a touch-capacitive D-pad located on the steering wheel. The climate controls have been updated for the Purosangue, featuring a dash-mounted rotating dial with a touchscreen at the center. Both the climate controls and steering wheel controls can be a bit intricate to use, offering a similar level of complexity in navigation and adjustment.
The Burmester audio system in the Ferrari Purosangue is indeed a standout feature in the cabin, offering an unparalleled listening experience. Standard in all Purosangue models, this high-performance 21-speaker system delivers exceptional sound quality. Partnering with Burmester Audiosystem has allowed Ferrari to incorporate top-tier automotive audio and acoustic engineering expertise into their vehicles without having to develop it internally, while Burmester gains prestige by collaborating with one of the most renowned car manufacturers in history. The Burmester system in the Purosangue boasts over 1,400 watts of amplification powering 21 speakers, including a subwoofer with its dedicated 400-watt amplifier.

With a sprint time of just 2.9 seconds from 0-100km/h and reaching 200km/h in 3.7 seconds longer, the 296 GTB/GTS showcases remarkable acceleration capabilities. At full throttle, whether the roof is up or down, the vehicle can reach a top speed of 330km/h.
The Ferrari 296 GTS provides the sonorous enjoyment of open-air motoring while maintaining the exceptional performance of the fixed-roof version, complete with the captivating Ferrari V6 sound that enthusiasts have grown to appreciate. Enhanced with additional carbonfiber reinforcement in key areas like the A-pillars, B-pillars, and sills, the 296 GTS offers 50% more rigidity compared to the F8 Tributo Spider. Despite the challenges associated with incorporating a retractable hard top, the aerodynamic efficiency of the 296 GTS is maintained through the wing profile and flying buttresses, ensuring optimal performance and thermal management similar to the 296 GTB model.
The Ferrari 296 GTS features the same mid-mounted 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine as its 296 GTB counterpart, configured with a 120-degree angle between the cylinder banks to accommodate the twin turbos. This design offers advantages such as a lower center of gravity, reduced engine mass, and impressive power outputs. Additionally, the engine is coupled with a plug-in hybrid electric motor positioned between the engine and the eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The PHEV setup demonstrates remarkable effectiveness in seamlessly blending petrol and electric power, resulting in relentless acceleration even at partial throttle.
Together, they generate an impressive 830hp at 8,000rpm (with a redline of 8,500rpm) and peak torque of 740Nm at 6,250rpm. By default, the 296 GTS starts in Hybrid mode, but if you’re craving pure adrenaline, switch to Qualify mode.
