HELLO... HELLO...

HELLO... HELLO...

...and welcome to our Events Guide for April to September 2024. There is something for everyone: from Food Festivals, Live Music, Theatre, Sailing Regattas, Carnivals and Armed Forces Events as well as special celebrations such as for D-Day 80. There’s information on performances, music and arts at the Shaftesbury Theatre, Dawlish and the Pavilions, Teignmouth.

Many of the events are free so you can become a regular visitor to events across the area. Don’t forget our lovely beaches and many public open spaces to enjoy such as the Manor Gardens Play Park in Dawlish. There are coastal paths and heritage trails, and the historic foot ferry to cross the Salty between Teignmouth and Shaldon.

GENERAL INFORMATION

WE COME BACK TO VISIT EVERY YEAR, THE CARNIVAL WEEK HAS SO MUCH ON FOR ALL OUR FAMILY. WE LOVE IT!

This events guide has been produced in good faith and all events were correct at the time of going to press. We will be producing a second Events Guide in Autumn 2024 covering October 2024 to March 2025. The guide will be available on the Dawlish Town Council’s and the Love Dawlish websites. If you are travelling a long way to go to an event, please check with the organiser it is still taking place.

We thank all our sponsors and photographs have been kindly provided by Paul Hillcox, Bob Simpson and others. The guide has been put together by Dawlish Town Council with the help of local volunteer Ann Leigh.
