Profile of our Main Speaker: Friday 25 July 2025

Pastor I. T Drysdale, JP, BA

With over twenty-five years of dedicated service in Christian ministry, Pastor I. T. Drysdale stands as a seasoned leader whose life is marked by unwavering faith, strong moral convictions, and a passion for the Word of God. He gave his life to the Lord on May 30, 1999, and was later ordained as Pastor of the Bull Bay Assembly by Bishop A.G. Henry. For the past sixteen years, he has faithfully shepherd that congregation, earning a reputation for spiritual depth, doctrinal integrity, and pastoral care.

Before entering full-time ministry, Pastor Drysdale served the nation with distinction as a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force. His experience in law enforcement shaped a life guided by justice, discipline, and ethical leadership qualities that remain foundational in both his civic and church-related roles.

Today, Pastor Drysdale continues to serve Jamaica not only as a pastor but also as a Justice of the Peace and a Licensed Marriage Officer. Whether officiating weddings, offering counsel, or preaching the Gospel, he is known for his wisdom, compassion, and the ability to lead with both authority and humility.

His ministry is guided by the conviction: “IfGodsendsyou,Hewill sustain you.” He is also personally anchored by the powerful maxim: “IfIfail, don’tletthisbannertrailtheground.”These words reflect the seriousness with which he approaches his calling and the legacy he aims to leave behind.

Pastor Drysdale is a family man at heart. He shares life and ministry with his beloved wife, Evangelist Sonya Miller Drysdale, and together they are the proud parents of three children. Their home and ministry reflect unity, purpose, and a shared devotion to God.

Despite his many responsibilities, Pastor Drysdale values balance. He enjoys the simple pleasures of Jamaican life - especially a hearty meal of red rice and peas with baked chicken and a generous helping of ranchdressed vegetables. His appreciation for good food and good fellowship speaks to the joy and warmth he brings to every space he enters.

As we welcome this devoted servant of God, may his message bring inspiration, renewal, and transformation, as he delivers the word appointed for this time and place.

Evangelist B Rose, BA

Evangelist B. Rose is a woman of remarkable grace, purpose, and impact. A retired Jamaican educator and school principal, her 36year journey in the classroom and the wider education system (1984–2018) was marked by a deep commitment to literacy, student success, and nation-building. Even in retirement, her passion for service did not wane. When the call came during the COVID-19 pandemic, she stepped forward to support Horace Clarke High School, partnering with the Ministry of Education to uplift literacy levels during a time of national uncertainty.

Her spiritual journey began at just 13 years old, and for over five decades, she has remained a steadfast servant of the Kingdom. In 1997, she was ordained as an Evangelist by the late Pastor Joseph Johnson, and for the past 28 years, she has served faithfully in evangelism, pastoral outreach, and community ministry. She currently serves at the Kilancholly Assembly in St. Mary, under the leadership of Pastor Dr. P. Amiel, where she continues to nurture souls and strengthen faith through the Word of God.

Evangelist Rose is the beloved wife of Pastor Ervin Rose and the proud mother of one (01) daughter, Nashuah-Kay Rose and also a devoted stepmother . Her life reflects a beautiful balance of discipline, compassion, and humility qualities that shine through in both her professional achievements and spiritual walk.

Beyond the pulpit and classroom, Evangelist Rose enjoys the simple joys of life. She is a lover of traditional Jamaican cuisine, especially curried local goat, and finds wisdom in the words of this timeless saying:

“Thereissomuchgoodintheworstofusandsomuchbad inthebestofusthatitbehovesnoneofustospeakillofthe restofus.”

Guided by her life verse, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13), Evangelist Rose embodies a life of purpose one anchored in faith, defined by service, and driven by a passion for education, leadership, and positively impacting the broader community.

Profile

Host Pastor: Comfort Valley Int’l Overseer

Bishop Aldon G. Henry is a revered patriarch in the Christian faith whose ministry spans more than six decades. Born in Comfort Valley in the parish of Saint Mary, Jamaica, on September 14, 1942, he committed his life to Christ from a young age. A pivotal moment in his spiritual journey occurred at the Seaforth Church of God, where, after three days of tarrying, he was baptized with the Holy Ghost an experience that rooted him in a life of consecration, intercession, and apostolic ministry.

Throughout his calling, Bishop Henry has been affectionately known as "The Electric Clapper" an act that characterize his fervor in worshipping God. He is globally recognized as a prophet, a man whose revelatory insight has been both accurate and transformational. His prophetic office is complemented by pronounced spiritual gifts in healing and deliverance, which have brought freedom and restoration to countless lives.

Bishop Henry possesses an understanding of the prophetic texts of Daniel and the Book of Revelation. His studies and teachings from these books have shaped his eschatological outlook and inspired many to pursue a deeper understanding of the end times and the mysteries of God’s Word.

A devoted prayer warrior, Bishop Henry has spent much of his life at the altar, faithfully interceding for the oppressed, the sick, and the spiritually lost. His intercessory ministry is one of the hallmarks of his calling and has powerfully shaped individuals, churches, and entire communities.

Beyond his pulpit and prophetic ministry, Bishop Henry is deeply admired for his kindness, generosity, and compassion. Known for giving sacrificially, he has often extended help to others even at great personal cost frequently leaving himself without so that others might be provided for.

He is a masterful storyteller, weaving vivid tales from the threads of memory, recalling even the smallest details with such clarity and meaning that others can only marvel - and wish they remembered half as well.

His benevolence reflects the heart of Christ and the spirit of true servant leadership, offering support to the hungry, the needy, and the broken with unwavering grace.

In the early years of his ministry, Bishop Henry partnered with Bishop D. T. Jarrett and Evangelist I. Jarrett, laboring tirelessly both locally and internationally. Together, they pioneered and established multiple ministries across regions, sowing seeds that continue to bear spiritual fruit. He was later ordained as a pastor by Bishop D. T. Jarrett and subsequently ordained as the International Bishop and Overseer, in recognition of his spiritual leadership and apostolic authority.

Described as a spiritual father to many, Bishop Henry is often likened to Abraham a father of many nations having profoundly impacted lives near and far through his teaching, mentorship, and spiritual giftedness.

Outside of ministry, Bishop Henry finds joy in life’s simple blessings. His favorite meal is a hearty plate of oxtail and Irish potatoes, a nod to his Jamaican heritage. In more recent years, he has also developed a taste for fruit smoothies, a lighter delight that caters to his active spiritual lifestyle.

Bishop Aldon G. Henry remains a formidable and faithful servant in the Kingdom of God - a man whose voice carries prophetic authority, whose prayers stir the heavens, and whose life testifies to the enduring power of divine calling, obedience, compassion, and faith. His legacy is one of transformation, generosity, truth, and tireless labor in the vineyard of the Lord.

.International Bishop · Prophet · Intercessor · Spiritual Father

Bishop Henry exemplifies the very essence of true servant leadership. He gives quietly and sacrificially, often at great personal cost, putting the needs of others above his own comforts. His unwavering compassion drives him to uplift the hungry, the needy, and the broken with grace and humility. In every act of generosity, Bishop Henry’s life mirrors the heart of Christ giving not from abundance, but from a profound well of love and empathy.

His leadership inspires all who know him to embrace a lifestyle marked by selflessness, kindness, and genuine care for those who are marginalized and forgotten. Through his ministry, he continues to demonstrate that true greatness is found in serving others.

Hymn#536 - The Comforter Has Come

O spread the tidings 'round wherever man is found, wherever human hearts and human woes abound;

let ev'ry Christian tongue proclaim the joyful sound: The Comforter has come!

Refrain:

The Comforter has come! The Comforter has come!

The Holy Ghost from heav'n, the Father's promise giv'n!

O spread the tidings 'round, wherever man is found:

The Comforter has come!

The long, long night is past, the morning breaks at last; and hushed the dreadful wail and fury of the blast, as o'er the golden hills the day advances fast!

The Comforter has come! [Refrain]

Lo, the great King of kings, with healing in His wings, to ev'ry captive soul a full deliverance brings; and through the vacant cells the song of triumph rings: The Comforter has come! [Refrain]

O boundless love divine! How shall this tongue of mine

To wond'ring mortals tell the matchless grace divine

That I, a child of hell, should in His image shine!

The Comforter has come! [Refrain]

Church’s Marching Song Onward Christian Soldiers

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war, With the cross of Jesus going on before. Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe; Forward into battle see His banners go!

Onward,Christiansoldiers, marchingastowar, WiththecrossofJesusgoing onbefore.

At the sign of triumph Satan’s host doth flee; On then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!

Hell’s foundations quiver at the shout of praise; Brothers lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

Onward,Christiansoldiers, marchingastowar, WiththecrossofJesusgoing onbefore.

Like a mighty army moves the church of God; Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod. We are not divided, all one body we, One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

Onward,Christiansoldiers, marchingastowar, WiththecrossofJesusgoing onbefore.

Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,

But the church of Jesus constant will remain. Gates of hell can never gainst that church prevail; We have Christ’s own promise, and that cannot fail.

Onward,Christiansoldiers, marchingastowar, WiththecrossofJesusgoing onbefore.

Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng, Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song. Glory, laud and honor unto Christ the King,

Poem: The Day Is Far Spent ‘Anonymous‘

The day is far spent, the light grows thin, What seeds have you sown? What life dwells within? Time slips away like the fading sun, No second chance when the day is done.

The fields lie quiet where once they grew, The winds now whisper what once we knewThat morning’s promise is not for the night, And grace, once scorned, withdraws from sight.

Abide with us, O Lord, we pray, Stay close through the night and show the way. The heart grows faint when left alone, Without Your voice, without Your throne.

Awake, arise - don’t drift or delay, For shadows come swift, and night will stay. The Bridegroom tarries not for long, And soon shall sound the judgment song.

The lamps are few whose flames still burn, So many sleep, too slow to turn. But mercy knocks - its voice still near, Oh sinner, wake, while God is here.

Prepare your heart while light remains, For judgment comes with no refrains. The harvest closes with the sun, And none may labor when day is done.

The day is far spent - heed the call, Make peace with God before the fall. Forsake the night, embrace the light, And walk with Christ into the night.

The stars may rise, the dark may swell, But God walks near - Emmanuel.

Abide with us, our Hope, our Friend, And guide us safely to the end.

VOTE OF THANKS

Theme: “Abide with Us, for the Day is Far Spent” (Luke 24:29)

As we bring this time of worship and reflection to a close, we pause to give heartfelt thanks to Almighty God, who has been our sustainer, our strong tower, and our unfailing guide through what has been a most challenging and trying year.

This season has tested our endurance, our faith, and our unity. But even in the midst of uncertainty, we have seen God’s hand at work comforting, preserving, and carrying us forward. To Him be all glory, honor, and praise.

The theme of this Anniversary, “Abide with us, for the day is far spent,”calls us to a deeper awareness of the times in which we live. It is a sacred reminder that the hour is late, and the signs of the times are unmistakable. The world grows darker, and hearts grow faint but as the people of God, we must remain steadfast. We must hold fast to His Word, remain grounded in faith, and cry as the disciples once did: “Stay withus,Lord.”

This plea is not born of fear, but of faith faith that His presence is the only light capable of guiding us through these twilight hours. As the time of redemption draws near, may we be found abiding in Him steadily, prayerfully, and faithfully.

We extend sincere and loving thanks to each person who supported the ministry over this past year: To those who prayed earnestly your intercession lifted us in ways words cannot describe. To those who visited and encouraged your presence was a balm to weary souls. To those who gave financially or materially your generosity upheld the mission. To those who served in silence your labor of love did not go unnoticed.

“Ironsharpenethiron;soamansharpeneththe countenanceofhisfriend.”- Proverbs27:17)

Your faithfulness has brightened our countenance and strengthened our resolve. We thank you humbly and wholeheartedly.

As we go forward, may we remain sober, vigilant, and unshakable in our hope. May Christ continue to abide with us, even as we abide in Him. Let our lights shine brightly, for the night is far spent, and the day of His appearing draws near.

With sincere gratitude, Thank You and God Bless You All.
