6th January THE PRESIDENT’S NEW YEAR’S CONCERT Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta
Presented by the Office of The President and Festivals Malta, in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation, The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra greets the arrival of 2019 with the President’s Annual New Year Concert. Under the direction of Mro Sergey Smbatyan, the MPO will be performing festive music including works by Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Bernstein and Anderson, as well as arias sung by mezzo-soprano Clare Ghigo. Teams including the Malta Masters, Gozo Veterans and the Premier League Foreigners Veterans will compete in this football tournament for the winner’s trophy. The tournament is in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund.
