n June 19th Air Malta will start operating a weekly (Tuesday) flight to Kiev, the Capital city of Ukraine. This new scheduled service announced during a state visit to the Ukrainian capital by Malta’s President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca last October will offer visa-free travel to both Ukrainian visitors and Maltese tourists wishing to explore this beautiful country.
visitors no longer require a visa to visit Malta and other European countries. This opens up a new passengers market. Air Malta started promoting this new destination with Ukrainian tour operators. This is another welcome addition to Air Malta’s flight schedule and I look forward to see the airline secure more business and seek more opportunities to ensure further success and become the Airline of the Mediterranean.”

Through the introduction of this route we are now increasing our services to Eastern Europe and in the process we are consolidating our position in this region.
