Dakota Eye Institute Team Members Complete Certification

Christine Ohlhauser and Lisa Schorsch of Dakota Eye Institute Christine Ohlhauser recently completed certification as Ophthalmic Assistants (COA). COA designation confirms knowledge in 19 specific content areas including visual assessment, lensometry, medical ethics and assisting in surgical procedures. This certification examination is three hours in length and Lisa Schorsch is comprised of 200 scored multiple-choice questions. The exam is offered through the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO).
