HOW DO WE REDUCE CARBON? We improve fuel efficiency and use hybrid technology to reduce CO2 emissions from our vehicles, and we find innovative ways to cut energy and fuel use to reduce CO2 emissions from our manufacturing plants and logistics operations.

MAKE THE MOST OF THE WATER YOU USE How do we use less water? We find ways to conserve, especially in our manufacturing processes. Each year, we use fewer and fewer gallons to produce a vehicle, which is really important in water-stressed areas, such as California, Texas and Mexico.
Turn off a faucet, and if you water your plants or lawn, make it early in the day.
LESS WASTE, MORE USES, MORE BETTER Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Reusable water bottles and grocery bags every time!
How do we reduce waste? We emphasize recycling at all of our locations, from the largest manufacturing site to the smallest office. We even recycle waste from construction projects. Everyone plays a role in making sure material stays out of the trash.
How do we protect Biodiversity? Toyota’s Biodiversity efforts minimize the disruption of natural habitats and proactively support local species. This is especially important as we plan, construct and manage our facilities across North America.
