Play your part in the theatre you love
The Rep exists to offer the people of Birmingham the most vibrant theatrical experiences in the world. We are a world class producing theatre in the heart of a global city, creating home-grown, critically acclaimed shows that includes everything from thought-provoking productions like East is East and A Thousand Splendid Suns, to showstoppers like Sinatra The Musical and The Snowman.
As a Rep Patron you will become an invaluable part of the work we do. Work that invigorates, inspires, and entertains. Work that offers an expansive idea of who we are, who we have been, and who we could be. Work that celebrates the soul of Birmingham through a world class Repertory of plays. To support The Rep is to support our local communities: through our programme that galvanises a broad and diverse audience; through our Talent Development work that propels the next generation of artists onto the world stage; and through our Creative Learning Department that provides universally accessible pathways into the arts. This vital work cannot be done without support from people like you.
Rep Patrons are part of The Rep family, enjoying a diverse range of benefits both on and off stage. This will include a personalised booking service, tickets to sold out shows, invitations to special events and backstage experiences as well as opportunities to meet the stars of the shows you love and the artists who create our world class theatrical experiences. Join us for Rep world premiere Press Nights or First Preview Drinks with actors and creative teams; access The Rep’s Rehearsal Rooms, experience an onstage Technical Rehearsal or watch from the wings with our Artistic Director.
The founder of The Rep, Sir Barry Jackson, always wanted The Rep to “put before the Birmingham public such plays as cannot be seen in the ordinary way at theatres.” With your help we can pick up this challenge, creating popular, daring, and bold work that is accessible to all.

BEING ABLE TO EXPERIENCE A TECHNICAL REHEARSAL WAS FASCINATING. SEEING HOW THE DIFFERENT COMPONENTS OF THE PRODUCTION COME TOGETHER, AND HAVING THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT THE DIFFERENT ROLES FIRST HAND WAS AN EXPERIENCE I SHALL NEVER FORGET.
REP DONOR

Our Artistic Director’s Circle gives you unrivalled access to the theatre making process with opportunities to join rehearsals, technical sessions and watch from the wings with our Artistic Director, Joe Murphy. I AM THRILLED TO BE LAUNCHING OUR NEW PATRONS SCHEME, GIVING OUR MOST VALUED SUPPORTERS UNRIVALLED ACCESS INTO HOW WE MAKE THEATRE AT THE REP.
