Bionic Gloves is a division of Hillerich and Bradsby Co., an American sporting legacy that stretches back over 130 years.
In 1884, we started making baseball bats. Fast forward to now, Hillerich and Bradsby Co. is in its fifth generation of continuous family ownership. Our campus, located in downtown Louisville, KY, is adorned with the largest baseball bat in the world. It houses our world-famous Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory and our newly opened Barrels & Billets, where you can create your own custom bourbon. The cherry on top for us is to have our Bionic Gloves headquarters in the middle of this American heritage campus that is visited by thousands every year. Over the years, H&B has strived to create unforgettable experiences and premium products. In 1998, we started creating gloves that dramatically improved grip,

THE ANATOMY
The hand features 14 phalange bones as well as a large number of tendons and muscles. Combined, they allow for an intricate range of motion and dexterity.
THE ERGONOMIC SOLUTION
Made of stretchable and breathable Lycra material, Motion Zones are added over the knuckles, Web Zones are added between the fingers, Flex Zones are added on the palm side of the fingers and Expansion Zones are added on the back of the hand. The perfect combination of all of these zones mimic the natural movement of the hand.

ANATOMICAL RELIEF PAD SYSTEM
THE ANATOMY
The hand has natural peaks and valleys determined by the bones in the hand. The high points of the bone rub against tools and equipment and cause blisters, calluses, pain and hand fatigue.

Strategically-placed pads on the glove eliminate the peaks and valleys and even the surface of the hand. The anatomical pads are lined with Terrycloth micro-pads inside the glove, which help wick away moisture and even out the surface of the hand.

Hand moisture is absorbed by the Terrycloth micro-pads which helps reduce friction and increases the glove’s lifespan. Plus, friction causing blisters, pain and calluses is virtually eliminated.

THE ANATOMY
The thumb is the most variable digit from hand to hand making it very difficult to fit. A tight fit on your most moveable digit can impede movement and create hand fatigue. On the other hand, a loose fit on our only opposable digit can increase the bunching of material, discomfort and friction.
