MEET THE

Mohsin completed the postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons and furthered this with advanced training. He is experienced in implant dentistry and accepts referrals from dentists. Mohsin mentors implant colleagues and visits practices to provide implant, sedation and surgical services, carrying out oral surgery on referral since 2011 as a tier 2 practitioner. He has spent many years lecturing at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Oral Surgery.

Dr Balaji gained his BDS in 1996. He is a highly experienced and respected implant and cosmetic dentist who, as well as carrying out facial rejuvenation, routinely mentors other dentists using the latest skills and techniques. As an Implant Dentist, with over 10 years experience, he has placed more than 1500 implants to date, travelled around the world to develop his skills and worked with world-renowned implant surgeons.

Assoc. Professor, Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Iuliu Hatieganu” Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Founder of Med Artis Dent – private Clinic focused on oral implantology, aesthetic dentistry and periodontology. With over 15 years experience in oral implantology, Cristian lectures extensively in national and international congresses of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Implantology.

Jonathan is owner and senior technician of C&J Dental Technologists, a dental laboratory producing exclusively private implant, crown and bridge and prosthetic work. Qualifying as a dental technician in 2000, Jonathan qualified as a Clinical Dental Technician in 2008 (one of the first in the UK). Over the last 12 years, his laboratory has completed over 700 immediate load cases as more patients demand same day results. TeethXpress® cases have become the main part of Jonathan’s workload.

Nick’s professional interests include all aspects of dentistry related to dental implants and fixed and removable prosthodontics. As a pioneer in computer guided surgery, Nick has taught a generation of dentists about guided surgery and has been a KOL in this field for many companies. He is particularly interested in computer-guided surgery and guided surgical navigation for simplification of surgical placement of dental implants.

Dr Pynadath George is at the forefront of teaching and mentoring Full Arch Implant Dentistry, running Full Arch Implant courses since 2014 and training numerous dentists since then. Dr George’s scope of practice is limited to advanced restorative dentistry involving implants including advanced bone grafting to complex full arch cases such as pterygoid and zygomatic implants.

Toheed has worked in NHS and Private practices since qualifying in 2008. Over the past 6 years, Toheed has held the role of Foundation Dentist Trainer, helping mentor newly qualified dentists during their transition from university to general practice. His special interest lies in dental implants, oral surgery and complicated tooth extractions. Placing implants since 2014, Toheed travels between practices placing and restoring implants, as well as mentoring dentists new to dental implantology.

Fazeela is the founding clinician of the FACE implant multidisciplinary team both on the surgical and restorative side, for One To One Dental Clinic, Harley Street, London. With a special interest in Implant Dentistry, both on the surgical and restorative full-arch rehabilitation of the maxilla, she has developed treatment modalities for Peri-implantitis within clinical practice. Fazeela is passionate about training and mentoring GDPs within Implant Dentistry, and regularly lectures worldwide.

Paul has 15+ years experience working in implant dentistry. He owns a specialist referral practice in Liverpool, limiting his own practice to implants. Paul is a mentor to dentists training in implantology, a tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons Diploma in Implant Dentistry, the ITI Study Club Director for Liverpool and runs numerous courses through his own education academy, IDEAL.

Robert has over 30 years experience treating complex cases involving cosmetic, implant and orthodontic treatments. Throughout his career he has taught many dentists on all aspects of cosmetic and dental implant therapies. Rob tutors and mentors for several prestigious dental associations, is a Royal College of Surgeons examiner for the implant diploma (RCS Edin) and was the president of BAAD 2018-2020.

Marcos White is one of the UK’s most prominent opinion leaders for digital dentistry and intra-oral scanning. His private practice has seen transformative revenue growth and clinical efficiencies through digital innovation. Marcos built his own on-site digital lab, producing every dental and implant restoration needed for his practice and key customers. Marcos runs the Digital Growth Program for dentists wishing to emulate his techniques and digital workflows.

Nikolaos is a Senior Implant and Restorative Surgeon in private clinics in London and Edinburgh. His special interest and main qualifications are in Oral Surgery and Oral Implantology while he has wide experience in Aesthetic Dentistry. He has almost 20 years experience, lectures about Implants and Regenerative Dentistry and he is leading a program for introducing and mentoring dentists in Implant Dentistry.

This Oral Surgery Course is open to all dentists, not just those who practice in dental implants and will take place in person over 2 days. The course offers GDPs and Implant Clinicians the opportunity to upskill and enhance their oral surgery skills through hands-on with fresh, frozen human cadavers and long-term support. This 2-day advanced course is aimed at Implant Dentists who have a solid level of experience in performing hard and soft tissue augmentation procedures and will feature complex bone grafting approaches necessary for implant placement along with soft tissue augmentation techniques designed to support the long-term survival and success of the implant placed.

The course will cover the principles of horizontal and vertical bone augmentation and the Sausage TechniqueTM including when to use autologous and when to introduce grafting material alternatives.

Dr Fazeela Khan-Osborne and Nikolas Vourakis will cover the theory and run a hands-on practical workshops for delegates to learn how to achieve predictable results in the most compromised situations.

Sinus grafting is probably one of the most common and predictable grafting procedures in implant dentistry. This course has been designed to allow delegates to learn first-hand how to correctly assess patients prior to sinus grafting and learn step-by-step surgical protocols for both lateral and crestal approaches.

Delegates will also learn which graft materials work best in which scenarios and how to safely harvest autogenous bone to improve treatment outcomes, followed by the opportunity to gain hands-on experience treating cadavers.
