Increase your visibility with the Biocom Network The Biocommunique (BCQ) is Biocom’s monthly newsletter publication which highlights news and events from Biocom members. It is released the second Thursday of every month. The publication has a mailing list of more than 10,000 subscribers, with the current issue and archives available year-round. Submitting News Briefs to the Biocommunique If you would like to submit a news brief to the BCQ, please send it in an unformatted word document, under 400 words, with an emphasis placed on sending interested readers to a specified web address for additional information. News briefs are due by 5:00 p.m. the Friday prior to publication. Acceptable news briefs include: press releases, articles, submissions, etc. from member companies. Additional Information: • Members can submit three company news briefs per year • Premium Members can submit 12 company news briefs per year • Graphics and logos should be submitted as digital high resolution .jpg or .tiff images under 10 MB submitted via email with newsletter articles. News briefs should be sent to editor Lauren Panetta (lpanetta@biocom.org). Submitting Events to the Biocommunique The Biocommunique will accept Event notices for its Member Events section. Non-member events may be subject to a charge for placement. All members can showcase their events through the member portal at www.biocom.org. To submit an event to the BCQ, create a new member profile, login, and submit your organization’s upcoming event to be included in our community calendar and the next Biocommunique. (Click on the ‘Submit Community Event’ on the left side and login to Biocom’s website). All submissions are subject to editing and approval. Additional Information: • • • •
Members can submit three event announcements per year. Premium Members can submit 12 event announcements per year. Event notices will be run up to three issues (six weeks) before the event. Submitting articles and announcements is a benefit of Biocom membership.
