This burner more than fulfils the Swedish Housing Department’s requirements regarding discharge levels. As well as this, it is a safe and economical option.
The GOTFire Woodchip Burner
T
he GOTFire is a fully automatic woodchip burner with both ignition and shut-down
functions. This ensures easy-maintenance heating all year round, and can also be combined with a solar panel system. Any risk of the boiler overheating or build-up of tar is eliminated by these automatic on-off functions. The process of burning is monitored by a photocell that maintains a safe rate of consumption. All the burner’s functions are controlled by a PLC which also controls the functions of the woodchip store. GOTFire has a unique ash dispenser with makes the burner incredibly simple to clean. The burner easily meets the Swedish Housing Department’s requirements regar ding discharge levels.
GOTFire Woodchip Burners come in three sizes according to capacity: 40 kW, 60 kW and 100 kW. The GOTFire FB40 is sufficient to heat a house of approx 500 square metres with normal insulation.

The GOTFire heating system was developed and is manufactured by Bröderna Wimans Mekaniska Verkstad AB [Wiman Brothers Mechanical Workshop Company]. The Company was founded in 1962 by Lars Wiman and has been run since 1990 by his sons Anders and Ola. The Company has its headquarters in the centre of Gotland, Sweden. Biofuel has always been a major part of our activities, and this has given us many years’ experience of woodchip heating.
