The sensation of familiar places, old items, songs, and smells trigger my childhood memories bringing me back to a state of reminiscence. This project is inspired by my grandpa’s classical composition, “six piano pieces.” each jewelry piece corresponds to a selection of the six musical pieces, telling its own story regarding the Taiwanese lifestyle, historical movements, and the life I imagined my grandpa had.
熟悉的地方, 舊物品, 一首曲子和氣味的許多感知總是觸發我 同年的記憶, 帶我回到以前的情境。創作主題的靈感來自於外公的 古典作曲 “鋼琴小曲六首”. 這五件作品是從六首曲子選出, 各敘述著 台灣人民早期的生活方式,不同統治時期的感受, 以及本人想像外公 過去的生活。
