A concentrated electrolyte solution containing in each 30 ml Sodium Chloride 2.6 g, Calcium Chloride 140 mg, Magnesium Chloride 140 mg, Sodium Acetate 2.85 g, Potassium Acetate 470 mg, Invert sugar 24.5 g. It is indicated for the maintenance of fluid and electrolyte balance in the body.

A concentrated electrolyte product containing in each 60 g Sodium Chloride 5.52 g, Sodium Bicarbonate 6.36 g, Sodium Citrate Anhydrous 4.88 g, Calcium Chloride Anhydrous 1.05 g, Magnesium Sulphate Dried 0.81 g, Potassium Chloride 1.41 g, Dextrose Anhydrous 19.11 g, Glycine 5.68 g, Maltrin Q.S. to 60 g. When added to 2 L of water it produces an isotonic solution which is quickly absorbed from a calf’s gut, resulting in fast re-hydration. Its unique formulation means that the electrolytes and dextrose are included in the same sachet for convenience purposes.
