Student Billy was born in Semarang in 2003. ever since he was a kid, he's been dismantling anything and everything he could get his hands on just to understand how it works. He really likes building stuff and solving problems - often to the point where the solution is more complicated than the original problem itself. He's always looking for a new project - something to challenge his skills so that he can grow. He aims to make each new creation better than the last. Besides building stuff, he also loves to share his knowledge. If you ask him about something, he'll probably write you an entire paper on it.

This marks the first project by Billy Sugianto and his team, aimed at replicating the building for their mid-term CAD Software course test.

Church of Light is located in a quiet and small residential neighborhood of the Japanese city of Ibaraki, Osaka. The church was completed in 1989, and one that makes it unique is the abstract prismatic concrete volume that forms it, which is crossed by an oblique concrete wall.

Form Finding Illustrations
Public areas are placed in the southwest direction because they don't require too much morning light and also for thermal comfort.
Placing the hotel and apartments mass in the southern area is advantageous, as this region/mass tends to be higher. This elevation can help reduce wind turbulence from the southeast direction.
Creating openings in the middle of the building to optimize indoor air circulation while enhancing thermal comfort on the building's terrace.
