As the manager of most all marketing and communication needs for our organization, it is exceedingly difficult to pick just one thing. I’m passionate about the new NextGen group and all its potential. And, unsurprisingly, I love LiNK Magazine. It allows us to paint a large picture of what we’re doing as a whole organization and share it in a fun, accessible way.

Position:

Editor; LiNK Magazine/ Communications Manager/Leisure Travel Marketing Manager

The dish you’re known for cooking?

What is one thing about the Chamber you think most people don’t know?

I cook all the time, but I’m not known for following recipes, so I don’t often repeat a dish twice in just the same way. But, I have been known to throw together some pretty great cakes.

I’m not sure people see all the moving parts. The Chamber, Visit Billings and Visit Southeast Montana are involved in so many things in so many places. And the list of what we’re looking to jump into next is always growing. We are definitely a moving organism, not a static organization.

Tell us about your photo: Nothing makes me happier than spending time with my family. Thanks to my daughter, Rylie, I have a whole new appreciation for cold and winter and the opportunities they offer to make snow angels, sled, or simply sit and marvel at how pretty the snow can be. My best moments are those when my husband and I can slow down and enjoy the simplicity. The gorgeous sunrise and fresh dusting of snow, along with Rylie, made for a perfect snapshot of what makes me, me.

Describe your position in 5 words: Ever changing, ever an adventure.

What book is on your nightstand? One adjective that describes you:

Wild by Cheryl Strayed, Bossypants by Tina Fey, and #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amorusa

Happy.

The movie you can watch over and over: I think I’ve seen the movie When Harry Met Sally 100 times. It never gets old.

Words you live by: “Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings.” Elizabeth Gilbert
