Christine joined the iKBBI team in 2014 and focuses on member compliance, to include liaison with third party organisations in the insurance, gas and electrical sectors.

1. How long have you worked with the iKBBI?

I joined the iKBBI in May 2014, before that I was working for the local council as an Exchequer Service Manager, working within the finance department.

2. What do you best like about your role with the iKBBI?

I enjoy the administrative side of the role, ensuring compliance is up to date and that our members are supported with any enquiry they may have. My role includes the preparation of audits for our Installation Standards Partners and liaising with department heads to ensure legal compliance is had by their installer population.

3. Are you married? Kids?

I’ve been married for 14 years to my husband Deepak and we have two daughters, Menisha (12) and Rohana (8). We live in a small village in Essex and I enjoy spending time with the kids and their various clubs and hobbies.

4. What’s you favourite holiday destination?

Barbados without question the most relaxing place I’ve ever been. Blue sea, friendly people, amazing beaches, turtles and not forgetting the sunshine of course.

5. What’s your favourite movie?

I do love a classic, so it would have to be Highlander. Christopher Lambert was great in this film and quite pleasing on the eye too.

6. What makes you cringe?

Cockroaches! Just the thought of them makes me gag! definitely be James Brown, he could finish the evening off with a few of his classics, including Sex Machine!

8. What or who makes you laugh?

Most things when I’m drunk! Seriously, I do love Michael McIntyre and Micky Flanagan as I love a bit of stand up comedy.

7. Name 3 people you’d most like to share a dinner party with?

Tough one! Micky Flanagan for sure as he’d definitely keep me entertained with his cockney banter. Renee Rousso, because she intrigues me, and I think she would be a good conversationalist. I think the final guest would

9. What couldn’t you live without (materialistically)?

It is sad I know, but I would have to say my washing machine! (I really do need to get out more)!

10. Hopes for the future?

To remain employed but other than that, just to be happy, to have my health and for my kids do well.
