VARMINT AMMUNITION If you need forensic evidence to prove that CCI ® varmint loads are explosive on impact, you must be shooting blindfolded. When you put the crosshairs on your target and pull the trigger, you’ll witness the impressive terminal performance of these specialized loads. CCI’s varmint lineup offers several loads in a variety of calibers that utilize unique bullet technologies to deliver what we covet most: devastating performance on varmints, time after time.

Our latest product development is TNT Green™. This 22 Mag offering gives varminters explosive performance and unprecedented accuracy. It is a unique combination that is delivered in a completely lead-free bullet and utilizes the most advanced non-tox bullet technology available. Our bullet design features a pressed-powder core that stores energy—only to be violently released on impact. And as a result, we get unbelievably explosive expansion. There are also other impressive rimfire loads like the 17 HMR V-Max ®. This black-tipped bullet is driven to super-fast velocities in 17 HMR and 17 Mach 2. SMALL GAME AMMUNITION Take a look at pelts or small game harvested with CCI® ammunition, and you’ll notice a few distinct qualities. Clean holes and minimal tissue damage are a constant because we design this ammunition with the hide and meat hunter in mind.

The GamePoint ® bullet is one example of a product that boasts great terminal effects and superior stopping power, but minimizes hide and tissue damage. Available in both 17 HMR and 22 Win Mag, it gives shooters big game bullet performance. This bullet doesn’t fragment and gets deep penetration. Another unique bullet option from CCI is the Small Game Bullet. The SGB provides more stopping power than round nose bullets, with less meat spoilage than hollow points. COMPETITION TARGET AND PLINKING

Spotting CCI ® shooters on the range isn’t hard. Look for tight groups or cans with several holes in them. Regardless of the target, our ammunition delivers. If you’re competing, “decent groups” just won’t do. That’s why we offer a full line of ammunition designed for those in competition. Whether you’re shooting a rifle or pistol, we have a high-performance load for you. We even offer a 22 Short target load especially for International Rapid Fire Pistol Competition.

CCI also understands there is a time when you just want to do a little plinking. When doing some relaxed shooting on the range, consistency and reliability are a must. PEST CONTROL/SPECIALTY Our specialized loads and attention to details are never more noticeable than with these options. Our pest and specialty offerings set CCI ® apart from everyone else. Pests can be hard-to-hit problems, even at close range. For situations like this, CCI ® offers rimfire, as well as centerfire pistol, shotshell options. These rounds provide increased effectiveness over single projectile loads. For rimfire enthusiasts, CCI has optimized 22 LR and 22 WMR options.

CCI also offers a few “specialty” loads for very specific applications. By carrying these loads, we demonstrate our ability to cater to a broad range of shooters. For the times when pest control requires a heavier projectile or a longer range than our rimfire shotshells, use our 22 Short CB load. It means less noise and great accuracy for smaller targets.

CCI RIMFIRE TIPS FOR SUCCESS • Safety first when shooting! Always wear eye and ear protection. Rimfire bullets can travel up to two miles. Treat every rimfire firearm with the same respect you afford your most powerful rifle or handgun.

• Clean that gun! Most rimfire malfunctions can be traced to poor gun maintenance. When you clean the bore, also clean the action. Excess residue or lubricant in the action can cause misfires and feeding problems.

• Match your ammunition to the sport. Choose solid lead or TMJ® bullets for edible game, hollow points for varmints and lead round nose for competition shoots. See the rimfire reference table for usage recommendations.

• Gun condition is everything! There are many poor quality or badly worn 22 rimfire firearms in circulation that should have been rebuilt or retired years ago. Shooting them with ANY ammunition could be hazardous.

When in doubt, consult the firearm’s manufacturer or a competent gunsmith.

• Sight in most hunting rifles for 50 yards. The bullet rise between the muzzle and 50 yards is very small, so you can use the same sight picture over that range. For open-country varmint shooting, consider a 75 yard sight-in for 22 Long Rifle, and a 100 yard sight-in for the Magnum rimfires.

• Revolvers have barrel/cylinder gaps. The industry MAXIMUM permissible gap is a mere 0.012 inch—that’s just three sheets of standard copier paper. A gap larger than this can mean a bullet fails to leave the

barrel, resulting in a hazardous barrel obstruction. Revolvers with oversized gaps must not be fired with ANY ammunition until repaired.

• Try different types of ammunition when looking for accuracy. There are many makes of rimfire firearms with a wide variety of rifling patterns.

That makes them very sensitive to the ammunition type. CCI® has plenty of choices to help you in that quest.

• Take care of your ammunition. Store away from moisture, heat, and oils.

Keep ammunition in the original boxes.

CCI’s innovative plastic box protects ammunition better than the cardboard boxes other companies use.
