Yard Coordinator
Our UFA farm store in La Crete is looking for a Yard Coordinator. Reporting to the Store Manager, this position provides direction and oversees execution of the daily functions to the Yard Shipper/Receivers as directed by the Store Manager. This includes providing service excellence to our member/customers as well as making sure the materials handling equipment is maintained. The position provides coaching and training to the Yard Service Reps which includes: onboarding and forklift training certification. This role will also act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) when required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Ensure excellent service is provided to all members/customers.
• Support the completion of shipping/receiving of all inventories.
• Ensure equipment is properly operated, serviced and maintained.
• Ensure yard/warehouse/exterior locations are clean, neat and well organized.
• Support the completion of cycle counts of all yard items
• Assisting the Health Environment and Safety Committee by being a strong safety advocate.
• Responsible for maintaining AWSA standards for the chemical warehouse.
• All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12 diploma with 3 - 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience considered
• Previous shipping & receiving and Warehouse/Yard and forklift experience required.
• Capable of physical labour; capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Previous leadership experience an asset.
• Basic computer proficiency required and previous cash handling experience an asset.
• Must remain current with any and all required certifications, including WHMIS and TDG.
• Background in Agriculture and building supplies an asset.

Inventory Representative
Our UFA farm store in La Crete is looking for an Inventory Representative (iRep). Reporting to the Store Manager, the iRep is responsible for managing all inventory control related activities at the UFA Farm Store location(s) from which they operate or support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The iRep ensures all inventory control procedures are executed in accordance with UFA policies/procedures/SOP to provide inventory accuracy and mitigate shrink.
• Executes root cause variance investigations in accordance with inventory control processes and supporting analytics to determine process non-compliance or learning gaps within their location; partners with Inventory & Asset Protection Team to support corrective actions to change behaviors and ensure process compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
• Grade 12 diploma with 1-2 years of retail experience. Detailed understanding of inventory control systems gained through 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Relevant qualification and/or suitable background experience in inventory management and/or Asset Protection.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various personalities to achieve buy-in to both the importance of inventory management, along with the ability to identify noncompliance and root cause issues to support in developing corrective action plans.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills; effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, productively, and effectively with initiative and drive while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Good MS Office Excel skills, experience with D365 is an asset.
• Capable of light labor, i.e.: capable of lifting up to 25kg.
• Agriculture or AgriBusiness background, interest, and aptitude are an asset.
