milk, bread and toilet rolls in to her patient’s homes! But it was her care for an extremely vulnerable patient that won her the praise of colleagues within health and social care when she changed their circumstances overnight by contacting numerous agencies to provide much needed help and practical support. As we move to a new normal we are embracing technology where possible. We are using video to help parents assist their children with physical and learning difficulties. Our physiotherapy teams are also supporting their patients with on-line tools to help with the musculoskeletal issues they face. Technology isn’t workable for everyone though. We still call at people’s homes, we ring on their telephones to check on their health and wellbeing and we support them with the kindness, compassion and professionalism which has shone through. To all of you who have supported us during these difficult times. Thank You. We are truly grateful for the consideration you have shown.
