Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough (AgeUKCaP) As some ânormalityâ begins to return we have adapted our services again, resuming home visiting and re-opening Day Services with some Friendship Clubs also re-opening. We have incorporated our Covid Response Services into our usual services. There are many ways we can support you to live independently at home and to feel safe. We believe No One Should Have No One, so we offer practical support and opportunities to make social connections to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness. ⢠Managing mail and making phone calls on your behalf ⢠Doing small jobs/running errands. Domestic cleaning and household support ⢠Housework ⢠Bedding change ⢠Shopping delivery or accompanied shopping. Hospital Discharge and Admission Avoidance Service ⢠Arranging transport home ⢠Home preparation to support discharge (e.g. furniture moves, keysafe and grab rail installation)

⢠Opportunities to socialise, take part in games and activities. ⢠Tea or coffee is offered and a hot meal is provided at most of the clubs. Sharing Time and Telephone Befriending ⢠Contact from a volunteer by telephone or home visit, offering friendship to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness. Visiting Support Service for Older People ⢠Extra support for over 65âs when most needed, particularly when experiencing a difficult period, such as bereavement, ill health, financial or housing worries. NB â Fees apply to some services. Services are not available in all geographical areas. 23
