New print of Amplifying Voices, Mending Divides
A second print run of the anthology of stories, Amplifying Voices, Mending Divides – which launched in October 2021 during Black History Month - has now been finalised and new copies of the book were delivered to the Trust in January.

This new print run has meant that every member of staff working at the Trust may now order a copy of the book for free.
Julian Hartley, Chief Executive, said: “This is a vital resource that I hope will help spark inclusive conversations across the Trust about what we can do as individuals, teams and as an organisation to root out racism and make LTHT a place where everyone can thrive, no matter their background. It’s a truly moving collection and I urge you, if you haven’t already, to take this fantastic opportunity to start a reading group with colleagues in your team to read through the book together.” The book, edited by Ester Jamera, Co-Chair of the BME Staff Network, features 14 diverse voices from across the Trust and beyond, giving deeply personal accounts of racism and of hopes for race equality.
