$365,000 RAISED! Thank you for being part of the 2016 B2Gold Big Brothers Golf Classic on Monday, September 26th at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club. With $365,000 raised to support Big Brothers’ mentoring programs for children in our community, we will be able to support 243 children this year! We are truly thankful for your support of vulnerable children - because when children are emotionally, socially, and physically healthy, everyone in the community benefits.

This tournament continues to grow each year and would not be possible without the support of our generous sponsors, event participants, volunteers, and staff. Returning for the sixth year as the tournament’s Title Sponsor, we also thank B2Gold for their remarkable support and efforts on the charity’s behalf.

MEssage from Clive On behalf of everyone at B2Gold Corp., I would like to thank and congratulate everyone who participated in the 2016 B2Gold Big Brothers Golf Classic. We are pleased to announce that this year’s event raised $365,000 for Big Brothers, matching our previous record, thanks to the exceptional generosity of our sponsors, donors and participants.

As usual, the course at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club was superb. I thank the Shaughnessy Club management and staff for their exceptional treatment of our group and congratulate them on the outstanding condition of their golf course. And as with previous years, from golfing, to the dinner and silent auction that followed, the event was meticulously organized and wonderfully executed.

After an afternoon of golf, with different activities, food and drinks at every hole, guests had the opportunity to peruse and bid on a wonderful array of silent auction items, provided by our generous donors, and partake in a delicious dinner catered by the talented culinary team at Shaughnessy.

Mark Madryga, Chief Meteorologist of Global News, was excellent as Master of Ceremonies and we were delighted to hear, first-hand, from participants about the positive impact Big Brothers has had on their lives. It was heartwarming to hear from Callie, a single mother, who impressed us all with her

spontaneous, heartfelt testimonial about how life-changing the program has been for her son, who is a “Little Brother.” I would also like to personally thank Chris Owen, a long-time golf participant, businessman, and community leader; for sharing his incredibly, positive experience as a recent “Big Brother.”

Needless to say, this event would not be possible without the generosity of our corporate and individual sponsors, participants and auction donors as well as the tremendous effort and countless hours put forth by the entire Big Brothers team.

Thank you all for your support and efforts in making this event such a success.
