The Big Bear Old Miners Association presents Old Miners Days, a celebration of the rich gold mining history of the Big Bear Valley
The Big Bear Summer Theater brings legit theater to the mountains. Three shows are performed in repertory. Thursday, Friday, Saturday June 18 - August 3, 2013
May, June, July (see website for details) Since 1947, the Big Bear Valley has come together for Old Miners Days, a collection of summer events that serve to ‘bring history alive’ for both residents and visitors. Events include living history encampments, gold panning and other historical demonstrations, western fashion shows, gunslingers, melodramas, Chautauquas, parades and many more events for the whole family.
