Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham (BID–Needham) is a licensed 58–bed acute care hospital offering the same care as our direct affiliate Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in your community. Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham has served residents in Needham, Newton, Dedham, Dover, Medfield, Wellesley, Westwood and other surrounding communities for more than 100 years. The hospital has been recognized by several organizations for quality and safety including the American Heart and American Stroke Associations for lifesaving stroke care. Recently, the national safety organization, The Leapfrog Group, awarded BID–Needham an 'A,' the highest score possible, for protecting patients from accidents, errors, injuries and infections.
