“A sometime food you eat just once in awhile and it is usually fatty, sugary, or salty,” says Señorita Miami Orange.

Telly adds, “Anytime food is so good for you, you can eat it anytime.

It keeps your body healthy and strong.”

“Sí,” Rosita says. “When I spin the wheel, it will land on one of these foods.

You say what kind of food it is — sometime or anytime. Let’s play!” “¡Hola!”, dice Rosita, “¿Saben la diferencia entre un alimento de unas veces y de cualquier tiempo?”.

“Hello everybodeee. It is I, your furry blue friend Grover. Elmo will spin the wheel and do the action it lands on. Oh, look — jump rope! Jump, jump, jump.

Did you know that being active makes our hearts healthy and strong?

The more we jump, the faster our hearts beat. Show us, Elmo!” “¡Oh, no! ¡El Gran Tomate TODAVÍA no llega! ¿Quieren hacer otro juego con Elmo? ¿Y con Grover también? ¡Qué bien! Juguemos a La rueda de las actividades”.

“Did someone say heartbeats? I love to count heartbeats!” The Count laughs.

“What, Elmo? The Big Tomato is not here yet? Do not worry. We have a game to share — The Heartbeat Game. Now show me where in your body your heart is? Yes! “You are right, it IS pumping faster. That is why moving and jumping are so good for you! They give you a healthy heart! Ah-ah. Now, back to the show!”

Elmo is worried. “Oh, no! The Count is the last act we have. Telly and Elmo are already in costume, and the Big Tomato STILL isn’t here! Will you help?

Let’s do Elmo’s Animal Dance, okay? One person points to an animal on the next page. The others dance around and make noises like that animal would.”

Elmo está preocupado. “¡Oh, no! El Conde es el último acto. Telly y Elmo ya tienen puestos sus disfraces, y ¡El Gran Tomate TODAVÍA no llega! ¿Nos pueden ayudar? When sitting still to enjoy any type of book, children may need to “shake their sillies out”! Consider inviting children to take these healthy “wiggle breaks” when you notice they are getting antsy, then go back to enjoying the story. wearing purple, like an eggplant, today, stand up! Jump up and down five times, and then stop * “Anyone to feel your heartbeat.” the apple-picking dance. Everyone stand up, reach high up in the air to pick the apple from the tree, * “Do then low down to put the apples in a basket.”
