Vasile Ştefănoiu is a sculptor and lifelong art enthusiast. He draws, paints, and sculpts constantly an enduring passion since childhood
His credo is simple yet profound: “Art must have a message.”
Born in the mountain village of Ciuta, in Buzău County, Romania, Vasile grew up surrounded by a culture rooted in stone carving. The rhythmic sounds of hammers and chisels shaped his early world tools that brought stone to life It was here, working alongside his father, that he learned the technique of direct carving, creating large stone crosses adorned with angels
The shift from traditional craftsmanship to artistic expression began in his youth when he encountered Romanian sculptor George Apostu, who was carving abstract forms unlike anything made by local stonemasons That moment sparked a lifelong quest for deeper meaning in art
Vasile went on to study visual arts through specialized courses, immersing himself in the world of contemporary art He read extensively and visited museums and galleries across Europe and New York He now creates sustainable circular art, giving new life to recycled and repurposed materials In his hands, discarded marble often remnants from funerary monument builders is reborn. Using traditional tools like chisels, drills, and abrasives, he carves by hand with dedication and purpose
The same applies to his work with wood he selects the nest pieces from rewood and transforms them into sculpture
His sculptures are dynamic; the theme of movement is a recurring presence in his recent works. For Vasile, the contemporaneity of sculpture lies in conveying new messages through time-honored techniques shifting from form to content, concept taking the lead.
In some pieces, he revisits ancient legends from Greek mythology, placing them in modern contexts Inspired by transformation and metamorphosis, he invites viewers to see these timeless stories anew. When carving walnut wood, particularly on end grain cross-sections, he explores texture, contrast, and form, uncovering the organic rhythm of nature’s growth.
In all his work, he strives to evoke the sensation of the real, crafting images that blur the lines between authentic and arti cial, between the real and the unreal.
Vasile works with a range of materials stone, marble, wood, and stainless steel and his sculptures have been published and exhibited globally. biafarin

I have lived on the big island of Hawai'i for about 4 years now, which has been a very healing and supportive place for me I'm originally from Arcata in the redwoods of Northern California, and I lived in LA for many years, getting an education in contemporary jazz. I performed and recorded there for close to a decade before moving back up north, where I birthed my artist persona, Redwood Wizard, live painting at local events That quickly became something I gave myself entirely to, working on speed painting intuitive works within a 3-4 hour time frame This led to live painting at festivals on the road and, ultimately, to large-scale mural work, which I do now with a high frequency here on the big island of Hawai'i I'm currently working on a zodiac series, as well as new personal works, compiling and editing an art book, and working on a new record

Alain Rouschmeyer studied Fine Arts in Metz and graduated from the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg as well as the National School of Architecture in Lyon; he is an architect by training and an urban draftsman with a passion for sketching; he has been an artist since childhood. He is a painter of the living who draws his source from reality He mainly paints on medium format canvases as windows open onto an extravagant universe. As a good observer of the world, he analyzes the wandering of humans through crossed spaces and their gestures This active approach allows him to capture the essence that animates everyday life and draw inspirational poetry from it His artistic itinerary invites him to work in architecture, in which he likes to re ect on living spaces and the transversalities that de ne their uses Like an analytical poet, Alain Rouschmeyer's work navigates between reality and intimacy, revealing attachment and detachment according to a conscious will He explores the hidden dimension of everyday life that never ceases to challenge us, like jazz music or warm blues Improvisation remains an important aspect of his artistic language Rhythm, counterpoint and the search for harmony sustain a free, vibrant and spontaneous painting The painter manages to echo the noises of our lives The romanticism of which he fully assumes the contemporary and timeless expression inhabits the support as an implied space. Between the experience of reality and ctitious images, the artist moves us by the closeness and sensitivity of his works

The value of a piece extends beyond the surface it is built upon, and the materials used to create it. For a portrait, the story being told may highlight a life remembered, capture a eeting moment, or illustrate the bonds between us. My passion as an artist is to nd the voice of that story through the colors, textures, shadows and light that will tell it the strongest
After studying Art and Visual Communications with a B F A from the University of Delaware, I have continued to approach the art I create as poetry As boundless as the inferences made and emotions felt while viewing a piece, I love exploring the intersection between the shapes and physical attributes of what we see, as metaphors of the stories we tell

Born in Beacon NY, Mark is an artist based in Las Vegas known for his impressionist paintings that capture people, places and all the events in his life Timeless and tasteful, or modern and messy, images in his life demand to be examined. Mark mainly uses acrylic paint to create highly textured, three-dimensional works on canvas
A graduate of San Jose State’s art program, Mark’s rst in uence was his great uncle Alfred Pizzarelli, an artist from New York City in the 1950’s-60’s He used to look at all Alfred’s wonderful paintings and wonder “Who are these people?” and think they were trying to speak just to him by way of expressions and surrounding colors
Mark’s paintings are meant to burst with energy, life and texture hoping that they might speak to the viewer in some way You can catch Mark’s artwork around Las Vegas in restaurants, wineries and local galleries
When Mark’s not working, he’s spending time with his wife Alicia and their English bulldog Belma hoping to catch the next expression to put on canvas.

I started life as a painter. I was mentored by Ilya Bolotowsky and Ibram Lassaw. I worked with notables such as Willem DeKoonig, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Alphonso Ossorio and Larry Rivers I worked as curator at The Parrish Museum in Southampton, The Guild Hall Museum in Easthampton, The Metropolitan Museum / Queens Museum and lectured at the Cloisters And worked closely with Victor D’Amico on the “Barge” for the Museum of Modern Art.
I started making pottery when taking my Master’s degree in painting at Pratt Institute Little did I know that pottery would turn out to be my passion My work was a feature story on the Fine Living Channel’s program Back to Basics
It’s hard to make a living as an artist so I became an advertising Executive Creative Director/Art Director and lm director I ran several agencies, served on their Board of Directors, owned my own agency and managed healthy pro ts for my clients My strength is seeing the big picture, growing organizations, and optimizing pro tability, with an emphasis on quality.
I work primarily in porcelain. I was strictly a wheel throwing potter. The pandemic opened me to avenues I hadn’t explored Now hand-building is part of my wheel thrown pieces I take real world objects as inspiration and create them in my vision. Cultural insights and 30 years as an advertising Creative Director create new paths to explore
I believe pottery is the bond between the earth, art, and utility and serves as our emotional connection to our environment. The surface decoration is a blank canvas to capture an idea, convey a feeling, add a tactile element, accentuate a prominent pattern or shape
I was an adjunct professor at The Art Institute of Phoenix, CMO at Arizona Clay Association and board member of the American Advertising Federation.

I started playing in bands as a bass player at the age of 13 and started getting paid for it at 15. During my second semester of college as an art major, I got an o er to go on a 3-month road trip with a band So, I dropped out of college and ended up being in the music business as a musician, producer, and composer for nearly four decades During that time, I got to work with some of the most talented & biggest names in the industry, including Leon Russell, Bread and Dave Mason to name a few. Though I still play bass fairly often, I mostly retired from the business side of things in 2008 and began working in multimedia, making a full circle back to what I was aiming for in college
After redecorating my living room in 2019, I had a large blank wall and wanted to nd a painting of the bass I owned early on in the music business I couldn’t nd anything I really liked, and gured I would just paint one myself I was pleasantly surprised by the nished painting and the process So, I decided to work on a series of musical instruments that I either have owned or that otherwise played a role in my music career

FromAilene
“As an adopted child, I always wondered about the origin of my artistic and creative inclinations. In 2018, I reunited with my birth mother, who had spent her entire career in the art industry, providing the answer to that question!“
"I love colour, and my recent struggle has been to relinquish control to the abstract creative process. Shifting my focus from landscapes, I revel in the freedom to create vibrant works that can transform the spaces they inhabit. My style uses the collision of paints, fabric, paper, and other mediums. I want the viewer to be captured by the vibrant colours and composition of the "chaos" and get drawn in closer so they can embrace the structure in the detail.”

I have been creating art my entire life. As a child who was constantly moving I loved escaping into books, for me they were something solid I could rely on when I had to venture into a new way of life After I made my rst creation, I realized that I could explore a world of my own imagination, and I haven't let that go since. While I did slow for a few years limiting myself to doodles and hobbies, I picked up a paintbrush for the rst time in 2019 and have been using painting as an outlet for the changes I have endured since that little girl who loved to get lost in her books

I am a graphic designer and painter based in Fort Worth, Texas. I graduated from Baylor University last December with a BFA in graphic design I am always looking to create and trying to ll my life with art as much as possible. My grandmother Berniece Bratton was the one who introduced painting to me when I was in elementary school and it has been the thing I have loved doing most since She chose not to pursue art during her life so in my pursuit of it I remember and connect with the memory of her. I fell away from lling my life with art for a while until High School when my art teacher Ronney Heslip helped reignite my interest in art During college I was challenged heavily in my art-making, and even though tough I believe those professors helped me nd my own voice in my art whether they were pleased or not at all towards my work I am trying to gure it all out but the one thing I know for certain is that I am made to make
