The consistency of sin is that it is ever changing. What was taboo in a previous era is often quite ordinary in the next. The word “sin,” is derived from the name of a Babylonian moon deity. And like the ever-changing faces of the moon, the de nition of sin transforms. This depiction of a moon goddess is composed with elements similar to that of a ying and yang. They both show the juxtaposition of the light and darkness in perfect balance.

Through this image I am attempting to inform people about consent. As this is a huge topic that touches multiple American cultures and beliefs. I wanted to represent what consent means to me. I see this image as both positive and negative as it is meant to entice the viewer to explore the subject and educate themselves because our public education never even touches on the subject.

I have used the bridge in many of my works, and explore the symbolic element of where in the case of a small bridge in the Isle of Man, when crossing it one is supposed to salute to the fairies that live below it. If you do not salute to them, it is said bad luck and misery will follow you for the rest of your entire life. I cycle over it many times and I always salute!

The painting is inspired by Welsh vast valleys depicted in abstract composition of forms under the concept of artist created Ontologic Painting. The vertical wide fragmented line in the center is made up of various kinds of ground. It embodies the fragment of this valley on the black background of cosmos. The wild valley is trying to break up with its yellow roots and y into the blue. However it's always hard to break up with past to reach one's cherished dream. So the valley still remains hovering on Earth.

Here I engage in the dialogue with Brueghel’s The Hunters in the Snow. I am trying to introduce the thought of embeddedness of no-one important into large scale life of space dimension on the background of Bruegel’s idea of human ado. These two dimensions are inextricably linked. This liaison is metaphorically expressed by the image of ropes connecting all the existent in one unit. Introducing large abstract forms into the painting I tried to keep the formal integrity created by Brueghel.

This artwork is inspired by my child memories when I had to work as a shepherd almost the whole summer sunny day. I sat on the ground looking at the Sun which was moving the sky as slow as a turtle. Only on a sunset I was allowed to leave my post till the next sunrise and extremely long sunny day. The image of a turtle symbolizing a slowly moving Sun is made in mixed media technique in an Ontologic Painting manner, i.e. with the use of simpli ed geometric forms, monochromatic pallet and natural media such as ground, sand, clay and shell limestone.

iREM represents my enjoyment of working on the theme of robotics and mechanical parts. This painting is an exploration of the inner workings of our minds in particular at the most creative time during REM when images are the most vibrant and intense. The painting captures some of what I see as shapes and forms and intricate patterns as represented in the mechanical birds and the working parts of the brain, and aims to fuse my intricate landscape drawings and current theme of robotics and mechanical parts.

Three-layered Silk Organza, Acid Dye, Pigment, Canvas. The work was rst inspired by Mt. Fuji and I traced the shape of it. My Mt. Fuji consists of piled “Su ering” being created by our endless desires. I incorporated objects which signify females’ desire, which come out from chasms. Four duck toys represent my hope that freedom is always guaranteed avoiding racism, spying and war traps and the Statue of Liberty to stay on top of the unstable mountain.

W:25 H:28 in 2018 - 2019 This body of work I have titled Unmentionables uses oral symbols juxtaposed to undergarments and taboo accessories to reveal agrant and fragrant misconceptions surrounding the sexes. Beneath the surface of the genders exists a gamut of voices that have historically been shoved in the closet or tucked away in drawers. There is a bouquet for every occasion and a label for every person. This body of work marries these two concepts into a comprehensive evaluation of my personal biases juxtaposed to societal evaluations.
