Overload Images and characters of daily encounters that survive due to their occupation. “Overload” is a visual reading that can reason in the physical or in the depth of the task, the portrayal of a labour that an independent worker is assuming sacri ces to continue to respond his needs and commitments, or even a passion like the fact of being a creative. To rummage for what can lighten the excitement to create, to question oneself or to stop in front of a situation that can re ect recognition by a biased eye proper of a harassing, demanding and sometimes limiting system.

This artwork is one of the Black Butter y’s Trilogy and it was made using the technique I named Interlineation (see the de nition in my statement).

“When the black butter y found and lay down on the black ower, a face of a black woman wearing a turban takes place at the same time, suggesting that the black ower was found somewhere in Africa”.

That artwork was made using the technique I named Interlineation.

Int e rline at ion is the result of the evolutionary summation of all my experiments and research I've made in my artistic life. By gluing strings to delineate I realized that the strings give me the freedom to create implied sense gures subconsciously.

The Cabanes installation raises universal questions related to territory, memory and exile.

From these huts, suspended and dimly lighted from the inside, roots made in cloth escape to the ground.

This installation evokes at the same time the habitat, the nest, the hut of the childhood, the memory, the belonging to a territory, the bonds woven, the rooting.
