Since my artworks are all human gures, especially women who are drawn in expressive position, I always pay attention to different states of the body. This work is a free deduction of a picture. I'm not starting with my original sketch. From the very beginning, I am trying to get the overall style of my mind with free coloring and rapid brush stroke. When it comes to the acceptable level, I will start deleting and adding to reach the exact position and gure. Finally, I add lines.

"Antipodes, balance, walk on the golden line", is a self-exploring, an experiment accompanied by a technological speci city of the material. In this way, I'm talking about the balance of values, a certain "golden" way. Inspired by the wanderings, it is an abstract vision of a particular location. The names of works, in fact, are not random numbers, but the geographical latitude and longitude of the place where the work was created.

The zodiac animals are given new meanings and presented in a contemporary way. My art speaks for me and my people, re ects lives, reveals problems, questions the so-called truths, and makes people face social issues for a better society. There is no answer given in my works. During these troublesome times, I’ve used the medium of painting as a way to exorcise negativity. Inspired by nature, I considered the case of the Semper Augustus, a renowned kind of tulip during the seventeenth century in the Netherlands. Its bulb, infected by the Potyvirus, in full blooming showed beautiful colored streaks on the petals. The negative but not totally destructive essence of the virus had eventually enhanced the tulip, renovating it into a unique variety. Will this be our future? Will we manage to improve ourselves once the pandemic is over? Encouraged by nature, will we be able to comply with the times and be conscious of the importance of collaboration?<...

In the modern age people face to conform to both of these ideals, to simultaneously t in and stand out. Everyone is born pure; as they grow they develop their own beliefs and characteristics. However, people begin to feel that the persona they develop needs to be unique and original for them to be successful in society. But they are unsure of how they should be unique or different so just adopt characteristics at random to please others. Whilst maintaining this facade they are also expected to be obedient and exible in order to integrate into society.

Shiny Thing features a pair of nesting crows. The female sits on her clutch of eggs waiting for the hatch, as her mate brings a shiny gift to honor her devotion. The birds are sculpted from styrene foam and expanding foam. Covered in thinset and glass. The nest and tree are found objects in our woods. with the nest being hand built and paper ber work done to create the soft home for the eggs.

I keep the packages and box of surgical face masks which comes from United States, Japan, Korean, United Kingdom to do the artwork. I don’t know the Japanese and Korea language. So, I use the translator apps to understand what it said. In Hong Kong, I can buy some alcohol swab come from Indonesia. The 75% alcohol swab is essential to my life to kill the virus. There are my experiences in this strange times. In the global world, the surgical face masks are out of stock. Many people are worry all the times. The supply and demand is unbalanced. So, I try to develop the sculpture which is mixed by the packages to give me a peace of mind.
