Porcelain Nouveau is a 3D printed vase that was modeled using RHINO and CAD. After printing it was glazed and fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln. The form language is reminiscent of a dress, and flowing fabric. The romanticism it evokes is akin to the design elements of Art Nouveau.

This painting is from a seried called Horizons. The Horizon is a theoretical line that separates the earth from the sky. I find that it has always drawn me, the observer, to stare and marvel at its vastness and beauty, especially during a sunrise, sunset or a dramatic storm. This series of watercolors is inspired by recent summer storms. I let the water and paint move across the paper with a little coaxing to achieve the results of the clouds and stormy skies as organically as possible.

Visually, The white floret petals reflect luminosity with three translucent crystals with gold "sunbots" for the flower's center disk.
