RainbowRoom

The Rainbow Room is at the heart of Butterflies, acting as a shared space for both Rainbow and River Room children.

Central Hub of Activity: It's where we all come together for snacks, meals, and various activities. On sunny days, we have our meals or snacks outdoors!

Social Mealtimes: At Butterflies, meal times are social times! Children from both River and Rainbow Rooms enjoy their meals together, encouraging conversations and interactions.

Promoting Independence: We foster independence during meal times. Children assist in preparing meals, set tables and sometimes even serve themselves. They're responsible for managing their cups and helping with recycling and clearing their plates.

Open Doors, Open Choices: The Rainbow Room is divided into dynamic sections, giving children the freedom to choose their activities throughout the day. It's all part of our engaging approach to learning and play.

RiverRoom

Our River Room acts as the first stepping stone into Butterflies. Children will always have the flexibility to freely move between all of our rooms, which helps them seamlessly transition into life at Butterflies. Typically, children aged between 3-3½ register and pick up time in this room.

Here's a glimpse of what their day will look like:

Register Time & Structured Learning: Children participate in register time and engage in structured learning activities tailored to their age group.

Building Confidence:

Throughout the day children can move freely between all of our Butterfly Rooms, promoting independence and social development. This enables a seamless transition into life in Butterflies.

Rest and Quiet Time: After lunch, children have the opportunity to rest or enjoy some quiet time, recharging their energy and maintaining focus for the rest of the day.

The Butterfly Rooms work in harmony to create an engaging learning environment. Butterflies follow the same curriculum that is used into the end of primary 1.
