Welcome to the 2023 edition of The Gift – Barwon Health Foundation’s annual magazine.

These pages are a celebration of just some of our fundraising achievements over the past 12 months – none of which would have been possible without the Greater Geelong community.

In 2022, we were overjoyed to see a number of our much-loved events return in-person for the first time since 2019 including Catwalk4Cancer, Run4Geelong and the Gala Christmas festivities.

Incredibly, there were some fundraising records broken along the way by the likes of local Dry July participants and the Geelong Building and Construction Industry.

We are endlessly grateful for the individuals and community groups that fundraise on our behalf, those who produce handmade items to enhance patient comfort, and the local schools that inspire the next generation of philanthropists by instilling a culture of giving back.

Inside this magazine you will also find an update on our Project North appeal and an exclusive first-look at the single biggest fundraising activity in our charity’s 21 year history – the House4Health Charity Auction.

We hope you feel inspired by the people among these pages who share our vision for a healthier, happier Greater Geelong and are motivated to join, or continue on, this mission with us.
