What We Love About This Home
In December 1984, we traveled to Dutch Neck Estates in search of settling into our first home. We had two young children with a third on the way and we were seeking a suburb where we could ensure our children a safe community, a good education, and the opportunity for our family to thrive.
More than forty years later, we could not have asked for anything more. There’s a reason we never left.
It is more than a place we live - it has been our haven. Its been where our three boys have grown up - enjoying the runs and bike rides around the cul-de-sac, playing in the vast expanse of the backyard, and enjoying the warmth and comfort of the home. It's where we celebrated holidays with family (and a backyard wedding reception!), entertained friends and neighbors over the years, and where we have enjoyed the creature comforts that have made our home so special for us and our kids!
Delighting in special meals in the proper dining room, reclining in the living room with the sounds of the piano, or getting cozy watching a movie by the fireplace- it's where we can relax as a family. Hunkering down in the back office with some quiet, catching up on reading at the kitchen counter with the natural light of the day, or getting some energy out in the ample space in the finished basement with exercise or play- it gives us the space for activity. The house has everything we could have ever needed or asked for.
