Some people chase public office as if it’s the most precious thing on earth. Others step into it as naturally as one enters his own home—with confidence, ease and respect for everybody who dwells within.
This holds true for Bulacan governor Daniel Fernando, who has been in office for almost two years now. The former actor (Scorpio Nights, Mistah, Malvar, Amaya, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Kirara, Angkan, etc.). The 58-year-old government official never thought he’d end up holding the highest office in a province of 21 municipalities, 3 component cities and 569 barangays.
All he knew was he always wanted to help people in his age group. At 18, he was appointed Sangguniang Kabataan chairman, a position he earned after hosting basketball tournaments and other projects for his fellow youth.
