The Old Course
The Old Course challenges and rewards in equal measure. Willie Park Jr’s 1907 design weaves brilliantly across rolling Surrey countryside, where each hole tells its own story through strategic bunkering and mature woodland. From the opening drive all the way to the final putt, it’s golf as it should be; honest, demanding, and genuinely rewarding.
The New Course
The New Course offers a different but equal challenge. This modern layout flows seamlessly through woodland and open parkland, demanding precision and course management. With water hazards, strategic riskreward opportunities, and the signature par-3 18th, it’s contemporary golf design at its finest; thoughtful, varied, and endlessly engaging.

At Burhill, we believe that no two golf days are quite the same, which is why our offerings are designed to be as flexible as they are comprehensive. Starting from just £114 per person, our golf packages are available Monday through Thursday for groups of 12 or more.
Each booking includes access to either our historic Old Course or contemporary New Course, served alongside exceptional dining in our beautiful Georgian clubhouse. The real story unfolds when groups like yours step onto our fairways and experience what makes a day at Burhill truly special. From the first handshake to the last laugh over dinner, we’re there to make sure everything flows seamlessly. These are the moments that really count, and the ones our guests remember long after they’ve headed home.
I recently played both the New and Old Courses at Burhill... We were welcomed on arrival by a wonderful receptionist and the General Manager, who ran over the timings for the day ahead as well as some very interesting facts about the estate.
We started on the New Course. Only 25 years of age but a good parkland layout in excellent condition. Large, fast and undulating greens keep you on your toes, and the 18th is a spectacular par 3 finish in front of the clubhouse.
We had pre-arranged lunch as part of our day package, and the bar menu offers a great choice and a great setting watching other golfers master the par 3 18th green.
Post lunch, we enjoyed the wonderful Old Course, a much more traditional woodland golf course with smaller greens and a fantastic selection of Par 3s. Overall, we had a great day and were very well looked after by all of the team at Burhill.
