CITYWIDE EDUCATION
OF SAN FRANCISCO
The Citywide Education Department focused on increasing the access to and quality of our academic enrichment programs and supports for youth members in the 20222023 program year. The number of youth who participated in literacy programming and homework help grew by nearly 600 year over year. In response, Clubs were provided with additional academic success resources like new curriculum, community partnerships, and professional development. The Citywide Education Department also expanded services to recent alumni through the College Success Program, to support recent high school grads as they transitioned to and through higher education.
VISION & GOALS Rooted in socioemotional development practices, our academic programming and services foster an environment where members are motivated to learn, progress grades on time, graduate high school, and leave us with a plan to succeed in the future.
