CHANGE IS SIMPLE MOBILE TRUCK VISIT TO THE CLUB

AbigthankstotheNationalGridFoundationfor introducingustoChangeIsSimple!Theyvisited the Marlborough Clubhouse this summer and it was truly an amazing day filled with fun and exploration!

The Change is Simple crew’s mobile learning center was a hit, offering interactive activities like building solar panels, wind turbines and creating paper out of scratch. Kids were on the move with engaging outdoor games, and there wasevenachancetogethands-oninnatureby digging up worms! From exploring renewable energy sources to appreciating the wonders of nature, Change is Simple made sustainability funandinteractive.

This is a fun way to fill the void of summer learning loss Thank you once again to the National Grid Foundation and Change Is Simple formakingthisincredibleexperiencepossible!

DISCOVERY CLUB SUMMER PROGRAM

OFF TO A GREAT START

The Discovery Club summer program has kicked off successfully with an average of 52 children participating daily Exciting activities and guest visits have already taken place, including a field trip to Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon, MA, and visits from the Marlborough Fire Department and the MA Pirate’s Arena Football Mascot,ArthurthePiratecameby.

This summer promises to be filled with unforgettable memories and endless fun for all the children involved. With each week offering a new and exciting theme and adventure, kids are sure to find something that sparks their interest and ignitestheircreativity

ALUMNI FRIENDS & FAMILY

REUNION EVENT

On Saturday June 8th, the BGCMW Alumni Planning Committee held their Alumni Friends & Family Reunion event at the Marlborough Clubhouse. What an amazing event filled with catching up, great food, a bouncy house, and fun for all! Thank you to Alumni Planning Committee members Brent DeBraga, Steve Zepf, Nick Narahara, Dom Jean-Pierre, Dan Sussman, Rich Darrach,andErnieThebado.

On behalf of the committee, they would like to thank all the Alumni members, Jeff Stupik for running an amazing dodgeball game, Shanissa Sampson, Shakeem Brookins, Julia Marshall, Sharon Rivera, Jonathan Rivera, Tony Salemeh, Ruperto Delacruz, Mellissa Peltier, John & Pamela Narahara, Erick Rivera, Tre DeBraga, Yarelis Garcia, Laura Terzigni and all the BGCMW alumni families, and staff who volunteered and helpedwithset-upbeforeandduring theevent

Assured Partners Insurance sponsored the event. There were also donations from Lost Shoe Brewery & Roasting Company providing coffee, The Donut Stand providing donuts, the raffle basket from Neighborhood Garden Solutions, and the Jean-Pierre Family. Thank you ALL fortheenormoussupport!

By volunteering at one of our Clubhouses, you can help make a positive impact on the lives of young people in MetroWest. Boston Scientific volunteers visited the Hudson Clubhouse to lead STEM activities with members. They organized STEM game challenges and assisted with constructing towers using spaghetti, pasta and marshmallows.

Mathworks volunteers helped out the Hudson Clubhouse by assisting with outdoor clean up around the building and inside organization and cleaning the program areas.
