WHO WE ARE The Fashion Umbrella Foundation’s mission is to engage individuals who wish to create, develop, and exhibit self-expression through fashion and art.

Although established in 2013, the Fashion Umbrella Foundation has over 15 years of collective experience in community engagement, self-development, fundraising initiatives, and small business support and coaching.

Founded by Sharan Nixon, a single mother of three (3) males, she realized while raising her sons and watching their friends grow up she needed to and then developed a gateway to assist individuals with their life goals. These components are realized through the Fashion Umbrella Foundation.

The Fashion Umbrella Foundation has been instrumental in bringing Nixon's vision to life with its programs, and workshops. Some of these programs also include youth development. Current youth programs are the Educational Honors and Youth Open Mic Performance Series.

The foundation achieves its mission through partnerships that allow the organization to continue to coordinate and execute focused education through its online learning portal Fashion Umbrella University, offer directed scholarships to college freshman and sophomore students, developing an inclusion of professional networking opportunities, facilitating hands-on and virtual workshops, and providing support for community events.

FUNDRAISERS The Fashion Umbrella Foundation rely on its annual fundraisers to assist in keeping programs alive and doors open to the Foundation.

Without support from our Executive Board, organization members, our fundraisers, donors and sponsors this media kit would not be possible.

SUPPORT DONOR & SPONSOR SUPPORT Fundraising events hosted by the Fashion Umbrella Foundation not only assist the organization with reaching its targeted goals, but also offer creative marketing real estate for brand products and services.

MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES The Fashion Umbrella Foundation and its marketing team work hard to develop strategic and comprehensive benefits for individuals, businesses or organizations who may be interested in supporting the Fashion Umbrella Foundation's mission. Sponsorship benefits include, but are not limited to:

Event naming (title-ship) opportunities.

Audience introduction to brands, products, or services.

Signage at program sites, workshops, and events.

Recognition on the organization’s website.

Inclusion in press releases and event programs.

Press availability for interviews.

MARKETING LEVELS Donor/Sponsor opportunities and inclusion for all program focused and fundraising events.

Levels are designed according to the budget provided from a "potential" sponsor.

Donor/Sponsor logo and name listed in printed souvenir booklet distributed at event.

Levels begin at $100.

SOUVENIR BOOKLET Ad placements start at $50 depending on souvenir booklet placement and event.

Souvenir booklet is printed and embedded on website for an archival presence.
