Dance Practice

Do A Proper Warm-up Before Class

Be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts to allow yourself time to warm-up before starting. Then you'll be prepared for ballet class's challenges

Do An Effective Cool-down After Class Your body and muscles are at their peak activity at the end of class. Now is the time for your muscles to relax again

Stay Hydrated

Dancers should always carry a water bottle to keep your body hydrated during long rehearsals or days at the studio

Rest Rest promotes recovery, reducing the risk of overtraining, stress, and fatigue. Give your body and mind a rest for at least one day

Listen To Your Body Be sure to listen to your body. Take precautions and follow regulations in class or on stage, such as not doing steps that trigger pain
