Benjamin Fairfield, whereis'away'? Benjamin received his PhD in ethnomusicology from the University of Hawai’i, where he created an ensemble course where students repurpose found objects into musical instruments. He has taught music at the elementary and high school levels, produced a garage band rock album in Thailand as a Peace Corps volunteer, and has published in various academic and literary journals.
