WAO The Eco Effect Shoes

As fashion professionals, we know the huge impact that fashion has on environmental pollution. We wanted to create a product which safeguarded our beautiful planet. So we have designed WAO, entirely ecological sneakers made with sustainable and natural materials that can be disposed at the end of their life through innovative processes like vermiculture.

We have created a hemp model (-75% water than cotton to grow, no pesticides needed) dyed only with vegetal dyes, and a water-resistant model made with 100% regenerated nylon (-80% impact on global warming impact). Both models have natural degradable soles and natural insoles and no chemical glue is used. The shoes are made in Italy and we work only with companies
