HEALTH & WELL BEING ROTATOR CUFF & SHOULDER PAIN WORKSHOP: HOW TO GET BACK TO NORMAL WITHOUT MEDICATIONS, INJECTIONS AND SURGERY

MORE PEACE IN PARENTING Instructors: Sarah L. Frederiksen & Jessica Wadden. Are you the parent you thought you would be? Let’s be real: you could not have truly known how challenging parenting would be until you were in it! If you have ever wondered how to find more peace in your role as a parent at any stage of your journey, join this experiential workshop designed just for parents. In supported community we will notice, ponder, and strengthen our capacity to be more mindful as we engage in group discussion, reflective writing or drawing prompts, gentle Yoga for any level student, guided meditation, and optional Reiki energy healing. Through reflection and self care we begin creating more mental and physical space to meet the demands of parenting. Parents of children of all abilities are welcome. Besides parenting, no other experience is necessary for you to participate. Please bring a notepad, a pen or pencil, and wear comfortable clothes for gentle yoga movement. One Monday, 7:00-9:00PM. Learning about your energy and how to use it to help yourself heal is life changing and empowering. This ancient art works on a network of energy that supports all of our life functions. As you use your hands and breathe, you will experience a new awareness of your body and relax. The benefits of reduced stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and other ailments can be yours. It is the beginning of “Getting to Know (Help) Myself.” Welcome to the simple art of Jin Shin Jyutsu®. One Wednesday, 7:00-8:30PM. Runs on March 4 at the Beverly Senior Center. $10.

Learn powerful self-help routines that can be used anytime, anywhere. Class includes lecture, discussion, and hands-on time to receive and apply the art to yourself and others. Dress comfortably and bring water.
