President’s Message

Hi all,

Once again I would like to start off by thanking the many people involved with our show, if it weren’t for these people we wouldn’t be able to go ahead. Thank you to our sponsors who continue to back us each year, your contribution is vital to the running of the show. A big welcome to our new sponsors, I hope you enjoy a long association with us. Thank you to all our volunteers who keep rolling up year after year and tirelessly work away to produce the excellent day we all have. If you are not involved but would like to be, please give me a call we need as many people as we can get and there are many varied jobs, something to suit everyone. To my Committee, thank you so much for the support you have shown me over the last three years, your commitment continues to amaze me as each year you work so hard to bring the show together. It is always a magnificent day.

This year our theme is “Innovate and Educate the Rural Way” as we join with Beverley District High School to celebrate 150 years of education in Beverley. As President of the Ag Society I have learned a lot, made a lot of mistakes and found some innovative ways to deal with things. Along with my committee, I have faced many new challenges and setbacks but we always get through it and we have a lot of fun along the way. I have enjoyed collaborating with the Shire to present the show in a new and exciting layout which works well for us all. We have faced the challenges of weather and survived the “COVID” years and have worked towards producing and improving the show each year.

In this my third and final year as President I would like to thank you all. It has been an absolute pleasure to be involved with the Beverley Agricultural Society and the community of Beverley. I won’t say it hasn’t caused me some sleepless nights, but it has certainly been an amazing opportunity and one I will never forget. I would like to encourage other members of our community to get on board with the Ag Society so you too can have an experience like this and our show will continue to survive into the future.

Thank you
