REJUVINATE THIS SUMMER WITH BT! By Talia Jordan, Director of Programming and Engagement There’s something special about summer that invites you to take a break, unwind, and refuel, whether at BBQs, beaches, or poolside. At BT, we’re bringing the same rejuvenating energy to our summer programming! Preschool moms can carve out some “me time” in our Moms and Midrash summer series, hosted in the backyards of some of our staff and members on topics such as self-care and rabbinic romance. Men can also enjoy the fun (and delicious Dougies BBQ!) at our monthly Learning & L’Chaims, kicking off this summer and co-sponsored by BT Men. Mercaz is offering a free BT in the AM mini-series this June, where participants can delve into the wisdom of Pirkei Avot with Chana Slaviticki and chat with Dr. Schorr about critical topics in the Jewish community. This summer will also feature a number of laid-back opportunities for our congregation to come together: at a Shabbat tisch, a playdate on the playground, or a drive-through to get a special treat. See below for complete details. In addition to upcoming events, look out for new opportunities to partner with us in planning and leading programming at BT. We want to work together with you to create Jewish experiences that are authentic, inspiring, and relevant to your lives and your input is the best way we can do that.
